Not a judgmental comment in any way, but please install door alarms to let you know if anyone is entering the patio/pool area, and a floating pool alarm that detects movement in the pool, as someone mentioned already. And make sure the pool fence is always tightly secured when not in use. I imagine you’ve already thought of these things because you are great parents! May God bless and protect your family always! ☀️

I was going to say the same thing.. Kids just are naturally curious and no matter how many times we tell them of the dangers out there, they simply do not understand. I think we all know someone who has lost a child to drowning in a pool/pond etc.. be safe... Fix the gaps in the pool fence/gate and screens..

I wish I could pin your comment to the top!!! Door alarms are important, too. And a well-secured pool fence!! Growing up in Florida, I too often heard of accidental drownings on the news because very well-meaning people thought their pools were safe enough. Anyone with a pool should be required by law to have these safety features installed.

Love the house so far - so sorry about your back and neck issues. I can sympathise with you as I just had Spinal Surgery and have another 4 - 6 weeks recovery. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get a pool alarm and a pool fence with a lock on it. In Australia you are not allowed to fill your pool until you have those things. The cost of these would be less than a dining table. Maybe you have already organised one, but the thought of the pool having water in it and no lock gives me chills. In Oz we have a pool every second house and then there are all the beaches, so kids are usually taught to swim starting at 6 weeks of age. We call it drown proofing. We also have an Aussie invention called a Creepy Krawley. It is an automatic pool cleaner. I am sure you would have them over there.I hope you are both recovering and the mountain of boxes is slowly diminishing. Sending unpacking vibes your way from a girl at the top of Oz. xxxxxxxxx

@@amyroberts9110 What I'm saying is that they needed a rest. They've been going, going, going for weeks and that could lead to burn out or a really bad injury from pushing to hard. A neck and back pain resolved in a couple of days is what I consider a reminder from the body to take some time to heal and not overdo it. I would definitely move the tv. Not a good idea to be so close to the vent. Mine is 13 inches below the vent (it is a lucky number for me). Below it is a 4 foot tv stand that houses the equipment and additional storage for DVD's and video games or whatever. It is also a good idea to live in the room for a few months to see how you are using it before you change things around. You may want the stackable units elsewhere off to the side and not under the tv or used near the sofa cubed side by side for the girls to use as a table (thinking there are toys in the storage cubes).

Love watching your family journey with your first home purchase! Brings back memories for me. Everyone is addressing the TV issue. Please understand my heart in the next comment. I am very concerned about the small table near the railing in your loft room upstairs. Children move tables and climb on them. If that table is moved closer to the railing and one of your beautiful daughters climbs up and leans or falls over the railing, you would be devastated! I would arrange the room where table, chairs etc., are on opposite side of the railing in that area. This scenario could happen in a heart-beat. Not worth the risk. At the beginning of this video Zoe climbed up on bench/bed and began jumping. Alyssa, you addressed that issue with her in the video. She is a climber. Maci may follow suit. Bringing to your attention as this has happened with other children. It is impossible to be with your children every minute. I share my concern because I care. You have a beautiful family! I love watching your channel. The two of you glorify God in all that you do. Enjoy your new home. The memories are what will sustain you when you become "empty nesters", trust me on that statement! May God richly bless the two of You as you two are a blessing to many, during these troubled times, in our Country! 🍃🌺🍃

I think the tv is perfect. It will keep it clean from little finger prints. To make it even, move the white TV stand over more to the left. You'll need to find a different spot for the bench or storage thing that's next to it. Why make more work for yourself with needing to patch the wall if you moved it? Just move the white TV standover a little! Then there are decoration spots on both sides of you wanted. Beautiful home! So happy for your family!

Your home is really coming along very well, already! I pray you will both be totally healed very soon. As for the TV, it can wait, and I wouldn't but the bench underneath it. Beautiful home, full of love and loving parents. I am really nervous about the pool. I live in Australia and we have really strict guidelines for keeping little people safe around a pool. A pool fence is a must. I was in a pool with 4 of my own grandchildren sitting on the steps, talking, watching and playing and my the 18 month old silently went under and there wasn't a sound.. Thank God I was right there but it did take about 5 seconds before I realised. Please do whatever you can to make the pool secure that they cannot get in without you there. I know I am just being super cautious but drowning happens so quickly and quietly. xoxo

Congratulations on your beautiful new home. God has a way of letting us know we need to rest. I’m glad your better. You have done so much. As far as the TV...I suggest that you lower it, I’ve experienced having the TV too high it can become uncomfortable very fast. I would center the cabinets under the TV and put the bench in a different location. I don’t think you want people setting directly under the TV. You might consider getting a security system that has cameras and place one camera looking at the pool then you could see on security monitors what is happening at the pool at all times. My system shows various areas at all times and if there is movement it records during that time. Also the doors have alarms mine makes a low sound if a door is opened and the alarm is not armed. When I’m away it is armed and if a door opens the police, my daughter, and my telephone are alerted. Please if you do the security system use a wireless system. Again I want to tell you how much we enjoy seeing your lovely family as well as your parents TV program. There is so little that is really good on TV and Social media you and your family, your parents, and your siblings are such uplifting spots in life. We pray for God’s blessings to continue to be poured on you and your family.

Love the house! I pray some day we will have a home of our own too. Definitely move TV down a little then bench in the middle🙌🏽💜
