Your molds were delivered in Utah today. Hope they made it there safely. On your fairy houses, are you using stoneware ? Also on using Mayco stroke n coat are you putting it on greenware or bisque? If you're putting the Stroke n Coat on bisque are you clear glazing on top of it and does the stroke n coat smear when clear glazing. One last question how many weeks are you letting them dry. Sorry for all the questions? Making these at the last minute. Thank you, Sandi😊
@hobblecreekpottery Жыл бұрын
Yes! Just unpacked them! Thank you sooo much. I can't wait to play with them. I treat stroke and coat life underglazes. When I glaze I fairy house, they are a mix of stroke and coat and underglazes. I use a zinc free clear that I mix up and I've never had issues glazing over stroke and coat. I do the glazing on bisque ware as they are so fragile. I let them dry for a few weeks, checking on them. In winter, I don't worry about slowing the drying, but here in Utah, the summers are dry and hot. Hardly any humidity. If I missed a question let me know and thank you so much for the molds. ❤️
