Just want to point out that the final descending lick uses UPWARD pickslanting. You can tell because he only changes strings on a downstroke. Basically, what this means is that aiming the point of your pick slightly toward the ground during that entire phrase will make your life a lot easier. Hope this helps someone. Cheers!

I love how organic your solos are, you never quite play them the same way twice. It's a pain in the ass for me trying to learn it but it's a really cool approach that reminds me of Nuno's playing.

Something a lot of guitarists seem to forget is that the most important part of a guitar solo is actually an interesting rhythm part and room for a solo in the song itself. In the last band I was in, sometimes I had a good 16 bars to work a solo out, but more often than not it was 4 or 8 bars. In those instances, you just have to serve the song.

You delivered? What a joke. I order my left handed ghost fret in February. It has gotten pushed out every month. That last time it was supposed to be 8/27 now 9/5. So we went from May, to June to July, then August, and now September. Maybe it's time to cancel the order like others I know. You have shown without a doubt that you cannot play with the big boys. Go back to all the mom and pop shops that supported you, that now can't carry your line, and compete with GC. Even though I wouldn't call it compitition since you can't deliver. You have soured a lot of potential customers.
@RobChappers
@RobChappers 5 жыл бұрын
Roadking26 hello, I am sorry you have had a bad experience waiting for a guitar that wasn’t in stock. I think it’s very important here for me to explain how retail works because it does sound as if you may be slightly misled. The retail stores purchased the guitars directly from our factory. If your retail store doesn’t have a guitar it’s because they didn’t buy it from the factory... that would not be the fault of Chapman guitars. I hope that clears up the issue for you, maybe find another retailer nearby who has one in stock. Kind regards Rob
@Roadking26
@Roadking26 5 жыл бұрын
@@RobChappers Then you should know how Guitar center is supplied, or is it third party? You made the deal, you should know the supply method for a central Wharehouse. Not individual store. When you made the deal you made agreements about supply. I ordered it in February it being due in May. It has been pushed out every month since then. I have been working with one of the VP's at GC. He said it may be time for them to call the factory.

@RobChappers
@RobChappers 5 жыл бұрын
Anthony Demmons thank you for your comment Anthony, it’s important obviously to replicate the solo on the album so the squeal had to stay. Whether or not something is juvenile is In the ears of the beholder.
