The fact there pulling out the old thread and not sanding it off like they use too is a huge improvement!!! Well done

*Really cool they took out the stitches! I I'm thinking the customer opted to not have that done, in order to not risk putting potential new holes in the welt area. Just a guess. He will still have the screws and glue to hold the soles in place though!*

Really happy to see you guys pulling old threads. It was for that reason alone I was never going to send a pair in for a resole.

*Worth it! The resole looks amazing! Looks like the customer wanted more support. So they switched soles. You all do great work!*

*Looks like they didn't stitch the midsole and rubber sole. It's ok since the customer has the glue and screws to keep their boots together. It seems as though the customer didn't want to risk punching in new holes in the welt area for stitching. I'm sure Nicks does their best. I'm just saying the customer probably didn't want the stitches. So therefore, I'm thinking the customer wanted to get more resoles out of their boots, by opting out of the stitches. It would be why we only see the midsoles and rubber soles glued, and screwed. Again, this is all only a guess 😅🤣🤣 lol!*

Finally, a standard re-sole. I noticed you didn’t hit it with the rapid-e, don’t really need to, the screws and glue will do the job. Did you leave the top-stitch in place though? Just for aesthetics, cause y’kinda jus glaaazed over that part, and didn’t show a top-down view. Great work as always, I’m an owner and fan. Plain toe Americana mto, brown cxl.

You didnt show the stitching of the midsole. Or maybe you dont stitch resoles?

Did they get restiched 🤔

The one thing I see on standard resole that you don't use the stitcher on the new V100 sole like the original soles down and glue down ? For $220 plug the eye lids and speed hooks

I am curious if you guys ever clean and polish the vamp/upper of the boot on a rebuild. I assume only of the customer ask for it...
@JinsKookieJamsАй бұрын
*On their Rebuild ordering page towards the bottom, you can select to have them clean your boots. But it's not free. This is what the option says:* *"there is mud and debris on the boots that needs to be cleaned off (Nicks would prefer you just clean your boots off) + $40.00"* *They say they prefer the customer cleans on the boots because it's a courtesy to them. It saves them time and allows them to get to work on your boots more quickly. It's due to the workload of other orders needing to be worked on. Because when they clean the boots, it's slowing down the rebuild process, since other orders are waiting to be worked on. Yes you can have your boots cleaned and polished, for a $40 extra fee. I'd rather clean my own boots to save my $40. People can do whatever they want though.*

*I got an email back from them. This is what Nick's Boots had to say:* *"When placing a rebuild order, we would need you to give them a quick cleaning before sending them in. Our team needs incoming boots to be free of debris and personal effects such as laces, insoles, tongue guards, etc. They do not need to be spotless, these are work boots after all, but if you could give them a quick clean that would be remarkably helpful to our production team."*

Why doesn’t nicks make women’s purses?? I think the tool bag, but a smaller version would be such a cute purse! ❤ also, you have my husband a boots right now, hoping to see them pop up in a video. 🤞
