By the way playing pure orc gives you powerful build so when you become large from your rage your lifting strength is equivalent of a huge creature meaning you should be able to lift up a grappled gargantuan enemy and use them as a improvised weapon.

Little known fact about Persistent Rage, it doesn’t actually make your rage unlimited. Many players forget that rage has an effect where if you don’t take or deal damage for one turn your rage ends early. Persistent Rage just gets rid of that caveat so your rage last for the minute no strings attached. It doesn’t extend the duration of your rage. It just stops it from ending early.

I am curious, I dunno if you have answered this question already, but how come you didn't pick some levels in fighter? Even a 2 level dip for action surge to push all those many attacks+reckless attack, so you can fish out more crits sounds incredible powerful. - Alternatively Champion Fighter does allow more crits to come in, or Battle Master, seeing as the hulk tends to throw people away, smash them down proned, or simply just frightening them menacingly.

"Hulk is the strongest one there is!" I love this build. It's often said that going barbarian beyond level 5 or so isn't optimal, and that's true: Brutal Critical just doesn't work mathematically. I just wish there was a way in 5e to reflect the differences between Hulk and Banner in the same character. 😒

Hey, fun video idea. In 5e, what would be the best Omniclass build if level capping was taken off? I know It doesn't matter since eventually you’ll just have LV 20 in every class, but: This is just for fun. Try and think of this from the POV of an OCD player who, by compulsion, HAS to maximize their player build as much as possible, slowly going through said very long campaign (Think multiple premade campaigns, settings and one shots strung together through an interconnected storyline that the DM artificially jacks up the difficulty on) which practically forces them to Omniclass but their still going to be crunching away harder than they need to at what order to take the classes in, which subclasses to take, which race, feats, and background to take, which spells to take, which feats, which skills to invest in, etc., etc.
@dndbuilds Жыл бұрын
That's actually an interesting option, because it's more about which order you take them in, and what subclasses work best together while making sure things stack (extra attacks from different classes don't stack so gotta keep things like that in mind)... Get ready for a tangent... I would entirely forget about Bard and Barbarian, Bards best feature is being able to grab spells from other classes, and being decent at every skill (both will be mostly taken care of in other ways) and barbarian not being able to cast spells in rage kills them despite being the best starting class for health. Start with basic human for the +1 to all stats Get 15 in str 14 in con 12 in int and everything else at 13 for mutliclassing I would start with Rogue to start, that gives you more skills to play with and eventually reliable talent is just amazing probably going swashbuckler since you can use sneak attack easier. Once you get reliable talent I would jump to Forge Cleric, this gets you heavy armor and a +1 AC, having disadvantage with stealth in heavy armor doesn't really matter when you can't roll less than a 10 with reliable talent plus expertise on top of it. Then take cleric until you can get the spell spirit guardians (I love that spell while being in melee). Then power through levels in Fighter for all those extra attacks, action surge, and either go champion or battle master. After that probably gloomstalker ranger, and then after that it's just fun stuff.

Ok I've got one but it isn't optimized and only ever got to level 12 in the game I created him for. I want to see your take on a Necromancer Bard. If you haven't done so already. Mine wasn't evil, but maybe that shouldn't matter in the scheme of the idea being maximized. He was supposed to have been able to raise an army of vengeful souls to fight against an even greater evil, giving a final send off for those soldiers lost in a great war. And he would have done so by playing their songs of old, but with a hint of magic 😅

I like the build, but I'm kinda baffled by how you handled the ASI allocation. Aside from getting a little extra carry capacity and jump distance from your STR score, no ability scores benefit from being odd numbers. Why not boost STR +1 and DEX +1 at 4th level, then STR +2 at 8th level, then CON +2 at 12th level, and CON +2 at 16th level? You get the same eventual outcome, but you gain the benefits much earlier. The way you've allocated the stats just needlessly prolongs the wait between benefits. Namely a higher AC earlier on. It's just unneccessarily inefficient.
