I’m in my early 30s and very active and already muscular and alot of people are telling me I will be “losing my gains” in the next couple of years🙄 its ridiculous! I know 70 year olds who are in amazing shape!

100% this drives me mad bro, you’re so right, at 46 I’m possibly fitter than in my 20’s. (I get injured more though 😂🙋🏻‍♂️)

I'm 66 and am thankful to continue to build muscle (quads, hamstrings) to help support my arthritic knees. Orthopaedic surgeon says it is the only thing delaying my need for knee replacement...it doesn't help the arthritis, but delays medical intervention for me and decreases pain (especially using stairs). I have recently started boxing for fun...and my arms and shoulders look great. I have a great PT who helps me accept 'the things I cannot change' and work on the things I can. Thanks John.

Love this, I'm hitting the big five zero next year, I train 4-5 times a week and probably the fittest and strongest I've ever been

So, you're telling me that the truth is more complex than the platitudes that we hear so often? I mean, you're telling me much more than that, and useful things to boot, but it boils down to that. I am regularly surprised by how many simplistic answers I just accept without thinking them through. Thanks for encouraging us to consider issues more broadly.

In what respect? It affects everyone differently personally I’d get blood work done to see where my hormones are at via a company like medi checks as they will do a specific test for this and check a variety of hormones that interplay here & they can have a doctor give an overview of your results

Hate all the talk that your past your prime after 30 or 40. People say that as if it's gospel and it does demotivate. The months I've trained heavily I've achieved more than I did on my 20s due to more discipline, more sleep and more knowledge at my age
