guys ive been a gen 2 raptor owner for 3 years now, bens videos actually helped me decide on a raptor. Ive kept mine stock and it performs like an absolute beast of a truck on and off road. One VERY important thing to note about Gen 2's and raptors under the 2021 year is CAMPHASER issue. If your looking to buy a GEN2 Please do yourself some due diligence and make sure that the one your looking at has the new phasers replacement and or within warranty or you will be out a few thousand bucks. Other than that, they are absolute beast of trucks!

camphaser issue just goes with any f150 3.5l ecoboost under the 2021 year. warranty is almost a must if youre buying under 2021

Also, make sure if you do get them replaced, make sure it is the updated part number. A lot of people got their "fix" by having the same part put in just brand. That too will fail, the "fix" just postponed it. Some unsung hero here put a video showing the differences between the original and the updated version of the part.

Every manufacturer has completely let build quality go after covid. There was an excuse when trade was limited and they were low on supply of materials, but they got used to the profits and we have to suffer the result.

I got 34ish for my 2018 with 100k miles that traded for my Braptor. They’re great trucks, just had some rough shifts when the trans gets warm.

They should bring back a true base Raptor. In 2017 you could get a supercab for $50k and supercrew for $55k. Now you need $80k. Forget that. These should be sub $30k with 70k miles.

That is the base raptor. doesn't have prox. blindspot sensors in the taillights and not having the tailgate applique or keyless start...it's cheap because it's got no options.

I have a Gen 3 & like the two previous gens as well. I decided to buy new, as I’ll be keeping this truck for the long haul 10+ years. They’re great trucks … turnkey; no lift needed & 35s or 37s right out of the box

Please do review on Gen1 Raptor. Gen 1 Raptor is truly special! It doesn’t have high technology like Gen 2, but that's what I prefer in the long run, and NA V8

benefit to the gen 3 is they fixed the timing chain issues that plagued the 2nd gen plus suspension is way better but for cheap still a cool truck

I bought my Raptor in march from Karl Malone ford. They have a ton of them - most in the country I believe. I’m from CA and flew out there. Great deal on mine but good thing I bought the warranty because I needed a new torque converter after the drive back home and windshield wiper sensor. Exhaust had leaks - but still passed smog here in CA. but just threw on a new cat back .

I have always wanted a Raptor - when I was trading in my 2022 Grand Cherokee 4xE they had a 2023 Raptor (this was in - 2024). It had been on the lot for almost a year - no deals to be had, no discounts available. I bought my Canyon AT4X a week later and drove by and saw the truck with a big Sale and Discount sticker. No idea what the sale was, but if that sticker was there a week earlier it would have been mine - I am super happy with my Canyon though - So I am glad the sticker wasn't there ha-ha.

I have a new one being built now. I like it and have no problem affording it. Should I wait for a new version? Aka, will they ever cost less new for the 801A? Especially with the RHO coming out.

There was indeed an old Raptor for sale ~$30k at the nearby CarMax lot. Not being especially interested in Fords, I only glanced at it because I don't see them very often so I figured I would at least take a look. Doesn't seem to be listed when I browse their inventory now so I guess someone snatched it up. And please doe cover the Gen 1 Raptor. It's good to see the progression of the line.

I love these trucks had a 2019 F150, but nearly $40k for a 7 year old truck with 55,000 miles seems pretty risky to me, that’s why I went new recently because used trucks are still too expensive. If it’s got all the maintenance records and is in fact super clean I’d say that’s not a bad deal.

@@mikeburton8166 Umm there are tons of them take a look at the link I posted. 2021 and 2022 F150 Raptors with 55-85k miles are going for around $55,000 - $65,000 all day long. In 2021 the base Raptor had an msrp of $65,000. Do some research before making such blanket statements.

There isn’t one single gen 3 in the USA that is less than 57k. So go ahead and get off your high horse and re-read your actual statement first, then do some research.

Definitely not dirt cheap. Vehicles have become so expensive that anything less is considered cheap. Companies are raising prices to subsidize their mandated EV requirements.

Not EV requirement but EV trend. Ford is gonna shut down the new taxpayer-funded EV plant and make it a normal plant. They did it for the free hand outs and not to better the EV tech 🤦‍♂️
