I’ve seen you can use rubber cement for the same results?! Even bought some, but have never tried it yet!

I've used rubber cement and it worked fine, but it's harder to spread, because it not as liquidy as the masking fluid.

It looks like the color came off, the peeled off masking fluid was red.

Lauren, that's been my experience too, with any masking fluid. It doesn't take enough that you lose your work, but it most certainly is noticeable to most card makers. So touch ups may be necessary, but still a helpful product if you change direction of your card!

It looks like the fluid when you rubbed them off they had picked up the color from the image. The image also looks lighter. What happened with this?

hmmm as you were saying "see it didn't pull up any of my color" you were peeling off bright red and green pieces of masking fluid. that seems dishonest. Interestingly enough i think it was made worse by using heat on the masking fluid, and that it would have pulled up less color if you would have let it dry naturally?

Looks like to much work and it also lifted some of the color. Great demo but not a product for me.
