@@CZghost why would they patch it? It's just a combination of obscure game mechanics. If a block is in its falling state for too long it turns into an item. Also iirc this removes the nbt data that says what is buried inside (so it's empty). In fact I think it might be more effort than it's worth to check every falling item hitting the falling timer if it's suspicious sand or gravel to have them act differently from all other falling blocks.

there has to be a sniffer- themed Zedvancment. I don’t know what it is or how it will work, but there has to be one.

I can think of a few weird things, but I'm not sure I see how to make a zedvancment out of it. Villagers can plant torch flowers and pitcher pots, so it's possible to farm them fully automatically. Sniffers have a twenty block memory, and aren't supposed to be able to search in a block they remember searching in. However they forget if they block is moved by a piston or destroyed and replaced. So it's technically possible to get a sniffer farm to automatically produce an entire stack of both flowers fully automatically without the player doing anything from a single block. That's about the weirdest flex I can think of when it comes to them. Or perhaps making a path out of them you could ride a boat on top of them since they don't ride in boats? (This is surprisingly fast speed, like on ice). It's also possible using pistons to prevent a sniffer egg from hatching. None of those really seem like zedvancments though, so I'm stumped. Edit Turns out you can't stop a sniffer egg from hatching. So that's another idea gone.

Hatch 10 sniffers and force grow them into adults in 60 seconds. I know it’s completely rng related and you will need a lot of eggs and time but it would definitely be a challenge

@@Telmach A twenty block memory? That's interesting to hear. That means that with enough Sniffers in enough of a big area, you can pretty much collect seeds without ever needing to push the blocks with pistons. Let's say 10 sniffers, which makes it 200 blocks, so all you have to do is to simply make an area larger than 200 square blocks. I guess if you go for 20x20 blocks area, it should double the area (400 square blocks), and with 10 sniffers, you get a pretty efficient farm. No need for pistons. Just put some hopper minecarts below the system, collection system with filters, so you can automatically collect pitcher plant seeds and torchflower seeds. Cool. I'll have to test it, if it does work, but that should be it.

I mean statistics won’t show he died to a chicken. Also, he ‘experienced kinetic energy’ which most likely means that the chickens actually pushed him against the wall of the hole whilst he was in gliding mode so that he was instantly killed that way rather than taking plain entity cramming damage.

I had actually been more worried about if the parrots wouldn't stay on the player's shoulders on camels, but yeah, when the baby camels in the boat grew up, they popped out of the boat. camels fit fine in minecarts, but you can't put a minecart in a boat, only a boat in a minecart. (if you could put a minecart in a boat, then it could be infinite since you could just stack with boats and minecarts)

3:50 Hopper minecarts can take discs out of jukeboxes without getting powered and locked by the jukebox. There's a good chance you already knew this, but I wasn't sure since you were talking about how jukeboxes lock hoppers now and such. Edit: Also, is the TNT necessary for the snow golem to kill you? It could probably hit you with a flaming snowball and then burn you to death. Your method is admittedly more fun :)

Doc got killed by chicken.😂 I’m guessing you don’t consider entity cramming a valid way to get those mobs to kill you. You could put it up to chance, do a sort of Russian roulette with mobs, especially a mix of the mobs that you haven’t figured out another way to kill you. Fill a hole to “cramming”, jump in, see what entity the game chooses to kill you. Lots of science involved…how many entities does it take to set up the cramming death? Does the size of the entity change that number? Will the game choose to kill you with the same entity all the time, or randomize? Play it kind of like jumping into a ball pit. Something fun to begin and/or end an episode with, and if you’re lucky, you get some of those difficult deaths. The Mob Pit.

Zed, I have a Zedvancement Idea finally. You need a makeover. When was the last time you updated your skin? I suggest that you should get a haircut from one hermit, a wardrobe change design from another hermit, a tailored armor set with the new trim and the advice of a mage on the enchantments. All this, followed by a big reveal at like, a fashion show! Could be fun.

Wanted to respond to the jukebox problem, but wanted to test first. The hopper is powered as long as the jukebox is playing. When done playing, the hopper can pull the disc out. A Hopper Minecart does not get affected by the powered jukebox, and can pull the disc out while playing, stopping the playing of the disc. Keeping this in mind, might have to make an unloading system with hopper minecarts.

I was so relieved at the mention that the hall of all was not going to include ever armor trim variation, but even more at the mention that getting all of them in general is too crazy bc i half expected a zedvancement about it. Wouldn't be surprised if there were one to get every color variation for the armors. like 1 piece of every armor type each with one type of colored trim and no repeating trim types. Maybe since there's more colors of trim than armor, some dyed leather armor gets involved. so like, one piece could be a gold helmet with amethyst colored dune trim, and another could be an iron chest plate with diamond ward trim. with 10 colors, that would be 2 sets of armor plus 2 extra, so at least one extra could be the turtle helmet. then the other nine would be leather, iron, gold, chain, diamond, netherite, and i guess 3 colors of dyed leather armor. I don't know, just a fun lil concept. maybe could be called... Artistic Armory? Colorful Coverings? Prismatic Protection? hehe, alliteration.

1:23 I think there are a couple more advancements that are affected. For the Mob-Stack-All, by using Camels In 1.20, you can get 16 entities stacked. For the Best Worst Equipment, you could add armor trims to the leather armor to get netherite I believe. Perhaps its not making it better, but its making the armor more expensive.

So.. Idea for the Cacophony Zedvancedment display in the shop... If you can manage the Redstone to make it work have the Cacophany only play when a hermit inserts a diamond, and you can advertise a "signed receipt upon purchase" (Signed books) where the receipt thanks the hermits for their purchase, their music will start shortly (a short timer would be great for the added comedic effect) and a PS on the Final page of another Diamond to stop the music prematurely, netting two diamonds from a single use, and be great for a laugh and content, again if you can manage to get the redstone to work. Ren Also seemed hesitant to have the Zedvancedment display in the shop... a chance to make diamonds is always a good incentive.

Does anyone know how long of a chain of events minecraft keeps track of in a kill? Think of a Rube Goldberg machine to kill you by something like a snow golem. Apparently Snowball hitting TNT killing you still works. But does it go any further?
