The fact Zedaph shows his deck before each run is so nice. So many of the hermits at this point are not showing deck updates, I want to know what cards people have or are getting.

Husks naturally spawn in the desert too, he could have just gone to a desert biome during the night and look for one. They aren't that hard to find...

I think for pay to win you want to use it as soon as possible, since it never really gets better, and it could lead to having more cards sooner.

Agreed. Grab an easy run so you can just run around the caves and make sure you get all your embers

IIRC the extra embers isn't a specific amount guaranteed to drop; just a boosted % for the drop roll. I suppose it could be saved for a known easier run, especially on a slow day where there's no queue so two runs in a row is possible. The ravagers will roam a bit during the resets, but knowing in general where you left them at the end of a previous run could be very advantageous for a "stay in as long as possible to maximize the number of rolls with that boosted %" run...

It is better to use when you have a higher ember artifact so that you have more opportunities to get an uncommon card. Either way, the extra unspent embers can go towards purchasing common cards, so it only gets better the higher difficulty you go and the more Ember Seekers you have

In my continuing quest to reward hermits who post Decked Out runs with a comment to feed to the algorithm (which I have spelled so many times now that spellcheck no longer has to correct me :P) I want to thank you again for the DO runs. I do especially like that you post your full deck before each one with the level chosen. You really do manage to make things easy to understand quickly. I appreciate your efforts, not only the runs but the little (or perhaps large?) editing touches that make your content flow to charmingly. I do hope Tango does something to work out the entrance to Lv. 2... there just isn't much you can do if the ravies are camping both enterances. I think your idea of suffocating the zombie to make a husk came from the fact that you can use powdered snow to make a stray. They should add that, suffocating a zombie with sand blocks should turn it into a husk (and I guess they should probably also make it so husks don't suffocate)

to clarify, the snow layers you get depend on how many victory tomes you submitted (this data is only known by tango, but he has put a lectern explaining it next to the leaderboard), while the shards you get depend on the amount of frost embers you got during the phase (this data is collected by the community through watching Hermits' videos, and listed in a spreadsheet that tango got access to)

That first run and Sneaky Ravager honestly makes me ponder about Decked Out 2 versions of Zedvancements. A variant of "I'm De-Terminated" where you have to die to every creature type _in the dungeon specifically_ is an obvious one, but what else... "Best Worst Equipment" could be that you go in with all your best cards (at least 10) but end up leaving with the "worst" (lowest value) artifact. "The Hall of All" would be getting every one of the artifacts once -which has to be manually tracked since you can't leave with them- (watched further, the Arti-Fake thing is new), plus one of every card. Aaand... that's where I run out of ideas.
