I have that mold… I did a top coat on mine in order to smooth it out… I over filled too lol

I found a second hand repaired mold in my TEMU order yesterday. I had suspected that some of the molds were second quality but I got one with material (candle wax I think) on the edges and many many scratches from demolding around the edges. I think they weld new parts into worn molds that can’t be used in the factory.

This is stunning! I love the fantasy film. I really like sea turtles (I even have a tattoo of one 😊), and I want this mold! Would it be possible to trim the edges to make them smooth, or would that remove too much of the mold?
