I never know how to store my hard neck garlic. I don’t have a ton left after keeping some back for seed and I’ve already used quite a bit!
I usually keep it in my kitchen pantry…sometimes in a basket, sometimes in an open mason jar. I just don’t know what to do either it.
Then I remembered how I use to string opinions and I thought let’s give it a go with the garlic.
It’s not quite as easy or as pretty but it’s hanging and it officially has a place to live!
Tell me, where do you keep your garlic?!

Good job, I was kind of waiting for the whole thing to unravel at some point, but you had things under control!

"I broke his neck" 😂😂😂 you made me laugh😂 Very cool, I never knew you could hang the hard neck, very impressive! I will be planting some of the garlic I grew this year instead of ordering so I'm excited to see how it goes!

I had to break all their necks 🤣 Other than the elephant garlic I bought last year, I haven’t bought seed garlic in years. I just keep using the same ones from year to year. I’m sure you’ll have a great harvest 😀

Wonderful! I think hanging garlic and onions are sp pretty hanging in the kitchen, just like other garden produce in pretty bowls, canning jars, etc. I have to say that I love your cast iron display also. I may have already told you that. LOL! Peace and blessings to both og you! Enjoy your day and the rest of the week. 💙💙💙

Thanks Carolyn 💜 That’s part of the reason I wanted to hang it. I love the look of it! That cut out was the perfect place to hang the cast iron too ☺️ Blessings to you 🙏

Very interesting. I wondered how people made them hang so pretty. I've never tried to grow garlic before. I just use lots of garlic powder. Blessings friend 😊

Normally you braid soft neck garlic and it’s much prettier than this..I was just experimenting with the hard neck 😉

Great idea Lyn!! And darn it, I just harvested the last of my rosemary a few days ago. I’ll try and think of something else to weave through it. Thanks 💜

I think when you dried the rosemary the leaves would end up falling off.

I wonder if when you harvested the garlic, if you sliced through that stem lengthwise and then let it dry. Would that make it easier to tie up and hang????🤔

That’s a fantastic idea Teresa!! I’ll have to remember that for next year. They call it “hard neck” for a reason 😂 Thank you 💜
