You can apply nitrogen when you first start them, but they are like potatoes. They need more potassium than nitrogen.

By WB canning it you killed all the medicinal properties of it. That's why "raw" unpasteurized (unheated) honey is always recommended. Honey will keep indefinitely in a clean airtight jar no need to can.

OH my, that sounds SO good!!! I'm going to make this for gifts this year, and of course some for me too 😍 My husband works with a guy who has bees and I was spoiled on his wonderful honey but he lost all his bees last winter so this year I've had to go with the organic from the store, which is good too, I can't wait to make this! I did the garlic cloves in honey this year too! Thank you for sharing the recipe 💜

Good morning! We see those bugs once in awhile, but only a couple every now and then. We do get japanese beetles that look like ladybugs. But still, nothing like the amount of bugs at your place. I'm not a bug person at all. LOL! I have everything to make your recipe except cinnamon sticks so I will have to get some and try this. I sometimes spray a dawn, vinegar and water mixture on little vines trying to grow between the house and the concrete. It works but you have to keep doing it. That's also something I clean with. I think anything natural and organic is so much better. Those harsh chemical sprays& cleaners really irritate my sinuses and make me feel sick. Hope you both have a great Friday and weekend! Blessings! 💙💙💙

Good morning Carolyn! I have Japanese beetles all summer too but I can’t spray the plants with this as the vinegar will kill the plants with the bugs (but oh I wish I could!!) This solution is working great for the bugs, my nose and my wallet too 😉 They will be gone come November but in the meantime they are such a nuisance. I hope you are having as beautiful weather as we are ☀️ The days are still quite warm but the nights are wonderfully cool. Blessings to you and S. and have a great weekend 💜

I know it is lots of hard work, but you both seem to enjoy it. The canning and preserving are fun for me as well. Unfortunately no garden for us, but maybe next year. Maybe some chickens too. The price of eggs is ridiculous again, so having your own chickens is wonderful. Frank is a hard worker just like you. Chopping and stacking wood is hard work! I spent a lot of my childhood doing that with my sisters & brothers when we were growing up. As always, I really enjoyed your video. I hope this new week is wonderful and relaxing for both of you.
