I'm a native Chicagoan and had a brief but formative romance with someone from the UK about 20 years ago. I filled her trip with the magical sights and sounds of this city and even today some of those tourist traps remind me of that summer she visited. This song (and video) brings me right back.

For your tale of romantic heartbreak reminds myself of the music growing up in the 1980's and 1990'sw hen music was still real and passionate. The Motor City is now largely an apocalyptic landscape unrecognizable from the Great City it once was due to corruption at the highest levels. Mind blowing.

the song is great (a guitar would have wrecked the emotion), the camera man did a good job BUT he should have gone more for darker pictures as this would resemble more that there is a love dying. The blury intro lays out magic.

As a photographer and sometimes cinematographer, I have to give a ton of credit to your cinematographer. Making you look great is easy. Putting something in the background (as the main shot) that's movement without it distracting from you is an incredible move on their part. (I can easily picture them saying: "no, just stand there!" and you having to trust them, with the traffic in the background) Great song, as someone who lived in Chicago for most of my life.
