We Need more Diverse Planets and Planet Enabling Mods in Kerbal Space Program!

This year is the 3rd year I'm running a big monthly contest: PicoSpace Summer Game Jam! I've set it up as a Game Jam using Itch.io where you can enter your best PLANET themed mod for Kerbal Space Program (lets forget KSP 2 ever happened). Hoping this Planet Jam attracts back some modders who have been sitting on the sidelines the last 2 years as there have been some MAJOR improvements to mods that support planets (Deferred, Volumetric Clouds, WeatherDrivenSolarPanel - which I forgot off my modlist in the video).

Just play Juno New Origins, it has an in game planet and solar system designer and there's hundreds of custom planets

Yes, Juno has some nice tools, thus why I'm focused on KSP for this round.

Yeah... Juno is a nice challange with a lot of pluses over kerbal, but the "feel" does irk a lot of people it seams.

@@picospace i think that's just because everyone has played KSP for so long that the idea of what a space game should look like in people's minds is stuck on that. JNO strips away a lot of the "charm" (the assembly buildings being dynamic with kerbals around, the space center being the menu etc) in favor of performance. The game is so efficient it runs on my 5 year old shitty motorola
