I remember when I first realized I was a man. It was shortly after my 18th birthday. Me and my friends were at the local water park for 12 hours swimming when I suddenly stopped and experienced for the first time fatigue. Luckily my father wat watching 25 meters away and waved me over. On the walk home I nearly got mauled by a stray flamingo- usually they pay me no mind but this time it stared me right in the eyes with focus and malice as if it were sizing me up. I'm proud to be an adult but sometimes miss the carefree nature of my youth.

She just unhooked it like she was working here. I was like "what the fuck do you think you're doing", but just in my eyes, I was so confused. She turned to me and said "oh we can't go here ?". What did she think the rope was for exactly ? Of course, that's just a mild story compared to the audacity of other bad guests. I've seen multiple guests simply trying to kill their own children by blatantly refusing to acknowledge the most basic rules of safety. Like this great classic, "If I say my child is tall enough, they're tall enough !!!!" ok karen, don't come back complaining if they fly off that roller coaster.

I have no idea about the actual reasoning behind this. But as a game developer the only scenario I can come up with, is that woman and children were added later to the game closer to its actual release. Resulting in the core game being developed with only male (or genderless generic) characters, where adding all the extra animations for two extra character types was too much work.

Actually there are a few animals that can outright kill/eat (adult male) guests. From what I remember it was sperm whales, most sharks, and T. Rex. Notably, all the mentioned animals can only eat guests as adults, except for the T. Rex who can eat guests as both babies and adults

As someone who has volunteer for my Zoo during a Seasonal event Lions attacking Guests are accurate (The ones like to attack through a Glass Wall after Sunset) Guests obeying fences is inaccurate (since some of them will try and chase ducks all the way to where the Spider Monkeys were in the middle of that pond which has a Rope Fence)

They definitely only wanted to have one animation for dino deaths (in the game files, the guest being eaten is actually part of the dinosaur's sprite sheet itself) but of course yeah, of the 3 groups to choose from, men, women, and children, allowing male guests to die is the least controversial

I used to put my zoo animals and guests through competitions, with the winner getting a "new home" or something. That's how I found out a couple things about the game, like that men swim the slowest, or that zebras jump over some fences. I only ever drowned a single guest... entirely on accident. I was playing on the sandbox map and accidentally dropped a male guest in the hammerhead shark tank, instead of the ground behind it. I didn't realize it until the guy was already drowning, and I was 6, so I was horrified. I got it into my head that only the men drown (because they're slow) and that I would have to watch male contestants, since that would prevent it.
