I just redid one of my starters, Deirdre, and I also cleaned up all the gifts I gave Raymond and made his house a little more studio apartment and less corporate office. I love this addition!

I did that with Raymond too! He now has a white & teal-themed studio, very hipster haha. I've been leaving the bottom right corner of my builds (Raymond and Fang so far) free so they can put their kitchen/workbench there when crafting, and stuck some fitting wall decor like kitchen supplies and pegboards on there!

I agree that people should be talking about it more! I think players, especially those who do themes, may not invite certain villagers to their islands because their house design doesn't mesh with their theme - despite how much they may like the character. This gives the player so much free reign in what they can do. Just about anyone can fit into your island now! It's great. Your Sylvanna's house is amazing! I have her and will renovating her house soon. I like how you kept the cherry blossom elements in there.

I love this feature. I had gifted my villagers alot and kinda ruined their homes so this was a great way to fix it. Also before this, I have been trying to gift both lucky and Kyle beds and they refused to use them. So now Kyle has a condo like thing going in a city and lucky has a haunted graveyard like thing. And both have beds to match the theme.

I found my boy Lucky as my third villager, so I decorated his house to look like he’d dug himself out of a grave and started living in the graveyard shed in secret. All of the indoor furniture he has is either natural, messy or outdated (ie. he has a sloppy bed with a simple small dresser with a TV with VCR on top of it at the foot of the bed) to make it look like he’s stolen/found it all, lol. His garden is the graveyard, and I’m currently looking for someone to trade with online for Walker’s photo to put at the foot of one of the graves!
