In my opinion, this is the look of a woman who is married to, or in a relationship with a Narcissistic abuser. I know that look and the feelings that accompany it all to well; because I have walked in those shoes. Narcissists are insidious in how they get inside your head. They can control, manipulate, humiliate, devastate, embarrass or crush you in ways that you never thought possible, with just a few words. At times I wished the earth would open up under my feet and swallow me. Narcissists 'rule' by implied threat, if not outright violence. And the worst thing is they keep you off balance and walking on eggshells because you never know when or why it will happen; only that it will. Sadly, they can give a 'silent treatment' that could make hell freeze over if they so desire because they are not happy unless they can make someone else miserable. We will never know the facts (until) one day Melania could speak up of what he said. I can lip read (due to my hearing impaired from birth) but in this case, his head was turned so I could not read his lip. I can tell when he turned his head, (look at his cheek-left side) he was still smiling, then suddenly went flat. He did not smile (fake smile) then when looking at his wife. Then I believe one word was spoken from his mouth to her, maybe two words. I believe only one word was spoken. He was quick to speak a word or two then turned around facing away from her with his straight stern face. What possibly could he said to her that made her use that face expression that had hurt her feelings. Again, could she be trying to send a message to the public by her feelings? Could she be signaling "help", don't listen to this man?
