Except it does…you literally saw the vikhrs and the bombs explode. The Ka-50 doesn’t have S-13 rockets, but if it did the damage model is likely unfinished because dev server

The Ka-50 is affected, the S-13 rockets and iglas probably weren't modeled yet. I'm pretty certain they will be modeled by patch release, if not, I will make a bug report to Gaijin if I get a chance to test this out by then.

@@BruceLeeroy94 Iglas are kinda small and at the complete edge of the wings, so I don’t think they will do a lot of damage. As for S-13 rockets…lol. You definitely won’t survive with 12 rockets of 4-5 kg of tnt each strapped to your airframe if you don’t get rid if them fast.

Bulanikov told on the stream that only bombs are modeled, so you can shoot them and explode, rockets are not fully modeled yet, it is in the future

Try some other modern helicopters, I think modern rockets have different methods of detonation which aren’t likely to be set off by hard impacts like from bullets

Well the vikhr is a modern missile and tbh I don’t think any ATGM is armored enough to withstand .50 cal. Hellfires should blow up just as easily and even cause more damage because they’re larger. Maybe missiles that are encased like the PARS-3 and the smaller missiles on the Roivalk and the T-129 ATAK (turkish heli), but you will go down after some time anyway if the whole enemy team is shooting at you.

I just hope gepards in heli PVE don’t immediately go for the bombs on my Ka-50… I find them to be much more useful than rockets because you can two tap bases and kill clusters of enemies (convoys that just spawned and frontline units alike), then finish the rest with vikhr’s and the autocannon (I use the ground belt which has 1 apds, 1 ap and 2 HE). Also with bombs you don’t have to worry about that one tank surviving your entire rocket pods.

Most of bombs/torps has 1mm steel armor in their damage files. Just for simlifize calculations...

to al. ypu malders malding about ka52 , its the dev server , things are meant to and do change , it works on other russian ordinance just qait till they model it for iglas , S13s and stuff
