Yes Roundhey Park Leeds the support was Joe Jackson, J. Geils and George Thorogood.. What a line up!!!!I camped out the night before and managed to get a great position at the front. I fell asleep on the train back and missed my Nottingham stop so had to spend the night on a platform in Birmingham. The whole show has since come out on dvd/blu ray and cd.Did you enjoy the show too?.

Money doesn't come into it when Rock n roll is in your blood you just want to play. All the great Blues men that inspired them Inc Muddy waters, B. B. King etc played well into their old age because they still loved it and found it fun. The Stones still give immense pleasure and in these troubled times that should be applauded not put down for any monetary gain(for which they deserve! ) even without Bill & Charlie they still fire on all rock n roll cylinders!!! So let's celebrate them and long may they continue to be the greatest rock n roll band in the world!!!!!.

They definitely got a little problem finding each others puls one some tunes early on this tour. I guess sound is a bit confusing on stage. It could very well be when the drums try to compensate for that too. Because Keith play sometimes off and on beat. Charlie had a bit more room in the drumming and that was very good for adjustment for the band. Especially since it seems to me they got a bit bad sound on stage. (Probably why Charlie establish that. That could also happen if a drummer hit loud on the drums more than one hit now and then.) Steve is a very good drummer, but I think he think he must do more than he need, to fill "the emptiness." But for the last decades that room has been a safe space for adjustment. It doesn't make it more easy when Keith try some new guitar thing, hanging a bit more her and there. (on the offbeat.) If Steve remember that Keith is a rhythm guitarist that like to fuk-up the drummers beat now and then, it will glide better togheter. I think they will find eash other more and more over the tour. The sound engineers too. And to be honest, Stones always have stumbled a bit here and there. It isn't a symphony orchestra you know.

@@Humanafterall888 I’m a musician myself and studied their playing for years. This was a very spontaneous comment. Not only licking their backs. (But I love this band.) If you get offended by people being engaged, I’m not sure who should relax. Stones can teach us so much. They walked and learned the hard way. I didn’t say anything about not go experience this legendary band, that I love of all my heart.

@Mike Barooshian Bill Wyman was a big loss for The Rolling Stones charisma and they changed their sound with Darryl. It took a decade before they got it in to a very good format. I personally miss Bill, but Darryl done a grate job. He and Charlie found each other, but at first it felt like the band had a heavy big butt. lol. I listen more yesterday and understood after a while that they play much louder on stage after Charlie passed. Charlie really didn't like loud sound on stage and that helps very much for jamming. When it gets loud fx your finger can touch the strings and everyone think it's a part of you playing, but in fact it was only moving your hand from one position to another. When you play loud it's harder to find each others pulse*. (*pulse is what's under the rhythm. Rolling Stones with Bill and Charlie had a self-taught pulse that matched incredible. A very lucky chance. That chemistry made music history.)
