this speed sheds lots of light in this modern and messy time of this world. feel like there is an identity crisis everywhere and to everyone every group of people. Yes, she is so right. We must know and own our past in order to process into the future. We cant reject our past because it has imprinted in us. This aligns with the Buddhist teaching, that you are just a continuation of your ancestors, your father and mother.
