Also the Paid DLC argument is bs. If I can land 2 jobs and get paid good, then that’s a DLC + the games and a console(Lite or the non-oled switch) a console btw, you can actually get anywhere other than gamestop and local retailers. On top of that, Urshifu is the easiest mon to get in SwSh and SV. It’s not 500$, in fact, I’d argue way lower than that. You could even get all this for 300$. Honestly, you just need 1 DLC for all the legendaries. Though, someone might mention “what about X?” Well, we played Pokemon alot. Casual or not.

As of right now I’m 7 minutes into the video. But If people want to watch competitive Pokémon. I feel like open team sheets just ruin it. Cause if you’re playing ranked you don’t have an open team sheet. The only thing open team sheets don’t have on there are the moves. You basically know what the other player is doing. Not to mention vgc doesn’t enforce the rules. Like timer stalling. And we can’t have transfer moves anymore which limits the creativity of movesets and stuff. Like I would love to Tera an articuno that has mirror coat, to get rid of the weakness that it has. I’m all for Pokémon becoming more competitive but don’t take away the fun work that people have actually put into the game. The people who want to understand how mechanics works. The evs, ivs, natures, movesets. There’s just so many things wrong with vgc in general, especially knowing that commentators at vgc will just back Wolfie and the other hackers just because wolfies the “face” of Pokémon because of worlds.

At this point, im more upset that the pokemon company hasn't created a system to host pokemon battles where all players create their own team via a teambuilder, likewise to that of pokemon showdown. I understand that it doesn't outright solve the problem of cheaters because of the online game (used to practice) but it is a heck of a lot better than what is happening currently.

Competitive pokemon at the vgc level need to cease in existence because all the players care about is winning at all costs and that is overrated now, along with taking away the enjoyment of watching pro level pokemon players. They all use roughly the same 100 or so high stat level pokemon for the current meta and then swear they are great at battle. Nothing different than your buddies grabbing six mewtwos and battling you but saying hes the best pokemon player ever after beating you with a stacked team. The VGC crowd and their followers are just a bunch of people hyper fixated on winning competitive pokemon battles. Every player is so scared of losing to a good level but lesser used pokemon team composition its pathetic.
