Have had hard dmt experience, demonic realms with terrifying entities. Had a one last night where it just kept going. After what felt like 45 min i realized, wait this aint stopping. Could hear my neighbour snorring. But couldt open my eyes. The realm wasnt scary, but the thought of this was going on for forever, or percieved as going on forever, absolutely scared me. The time dilatation has to be the most scary thing i have ever tried on these substances. Thankfully i saw after what felt like a hour the first sign of the realm slowly startet to fade becoming less bright, and the colors slowly startet fade also. And i knew this journey was coming to a end. Took a deep breath of relief, and a tear fell from my eyes, i have a deep newfound appreciation for this human experience

Here are my thoughts as l listened. I hope they may help. Small changes, but serious. The DMT will never teach u shit if your TV is on. Treat it with all sacredness, smoke it in a quiet dark comfortable uninterrupted place. Don't get caught up on how much is in your bowl, you won't overdose. Just put a point in a gak pipe, or melt it on ashes, and hold your hits in as much as u can. Things will begin to get crazy, don't be afraid. Make the third one big. When u let it out put the pipe down, close your eyes and lay down, and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION. Good luck bro.

I did DMT with the intention of meeting the dark night of the soul. The subconscious part of you deep down that knows you better than you know yourself and wants to help you. I had this trip a day after my first experience with acid and I think that had a lot to do with how much more vivid and clear this experience was. Usually on DMT I see basic colours and shapes that conglomerate into dancing movements and I sometimes hear voices and feel entities. This time was completely different, like a vivid dream I was in a room with a woman and a smaller person maybe they could’ve been on one knee or It could’ve been a kid. They looked like those weird Ai videos, super detailed like real life but twisting and weird in ways reality isn’t. It was so vivid that the image of those two people is all I can remember. They were in an apartment with a big glass window like in that scene from the movie Up where the kid looks out the window and sees the flying house, they were in a room that look exactly like that from the same perspective as that scene. There was a plant with two cylindrical pods (like jimson weed flower) turning over in different planes of direction with my perspective following as it branched out into more and more parts. That didn’t take place in the apartment that was sometime after, hell it could’ve been before I’m not sure. That’s really all I can remember, It feels appropriate to say I was dead because most of the time there was no awareness, no me. but then I remember tuning into the music like when you’re daydreaming and you kinda come back to reality. I realized I pissed my pants a little bit and my arms were locked up. I felt like a primordial insect. The scariest part of that was realizing in all that time the song was still on its first verse. I was there, then I wasn’t then I was then i wasn't. that was as vivid to me as reality which really fucked me up for awhile after. when i opened my eyes i kept seeing eyeballs floating around me and other stuff, i thought i was going psychotic and i was never gonna be the same but it was fine. it taught me that DMT experiences can be multiplied by intention and letting go of anticipation as i didn't take more than usual but the experience was way more extreme. I attribute a portion of that to me experiencing acid which changed how i think of psychedelics.

Had a DMT trip on lsd once that had recognizable imagery. But most of my higher level dmt trips had very little recognizable imagery, fractals, infinite landscapes, "jester" like things. @@ToastyFresh1 I only did it with acid once and it was just before the LSD peak. But that was my experience. I went to a giant Greek/Roman looking city, it was night, I was escorted by a ball of light to a giant rotunda building with a enormous golden throne in it. I'm not exaggerating. As I said as far as DMT goes it was the trip with the most recognizable imagery. Probably not a breakthrough dose of DMT and it was the first time I did LSD too.
@ToastyFresh12 ай бұрын
@@WAX1138 I remember mentally telling myself “if I do DMT it’s over” many times while on acid. I had this very vivid image of a dried up shell like a dead plant getting ran over by a bowling ball. The dead plant was my mind and the LSD was the bowling ball. I smoked a bit of weed and I can’t tell if I was hallucinating this or not but an ad playing on my phone was saying something like “all the important things you can be doing in your life and you threw it away for nothing” followed by a cough or a wheeze that sounded exactly like them saying my name. Hearing that made the visuals flare and shadows started dancing on the walls and I started crying. I started playing league of legends aram to try and find some normalcy but my subconscious was not letting that happen. My brain kinda bet my entire sanity on the match, like if I lost I would be sent into spiralling despair and insanity because I really wasn’t happy with myself and I just needed a sign that my life had more to it than what I was doing. This was the peek of the trip and my eyeballs started going lazy and rolling into different directions which made it look like the universe was splitting, and turning over like nothing I’ve ever seen. I locked into that game more than anything in my entire life and when we won, it felt like I ran a marathon and the sighs of relief was like nothing I have experienced before, because as far as I was concerned I was fighting for my life. I love acid because it gives me a sense of urgency to fix myself that nothing else really does and when the relief comes in and I start believing I’ll be fine it makes me feel complete inside.

I took a weed edible and watched bone tomahawk. After the movie was over I thought I was already traumatized. But something way worse was on the way. I went to sleep and I saw the most vivid psychedelic images I’d ever seen. I was thinking deep about everything. About how different reality felt compared to everything I’ve ever known. The weed truely made me believe that everything I’ve ever known and thought about the universe. Was all a simulation and didn’t matter. That what I was experiencing was a peak at true reality. It told me that everything, even god, even interconnectedness of consciousness, meditation and all of spirituality. Was all wrong and didn’t matter. Hell and heaven didn’t exist and even the fundamental laws of all things couldn’t apply to what I experienced. When I thought about this my mind began to spiral. And I felt and saw a spiral spinning around me. Or was I flying through it. I saw people screaming and then I heard my own mental voice. The same voice that could think the words I used to speak. Instead it was screaming, an agonizing scream of horror and pure torture of my mind. I was convinced that all things I’d ever experienced and known and thought to be real. Even the thought of a simulation didn’t matter. It went beyond fathoming. And the fact I thought there was more beyond what I was experiencing made it worse. But then my own voice spoke again and told me “this is a delusion.” And I stopped myself from losing my mind and losing my sanity. I thought I was on the brink of a psychotic break. But I came back and I’m still recovering ever since.

I had an experience like that off of weed. 2nd time smoking. Fucked me up really bad. Had depersonalization and derealization as well as a bit of PTSD afterwards. The thing whatever it was, was telling me that life was a simulation that I had created. I created everyone to keep myself from being lonely. I had lived my life an infinite amount of times and had even remembered that exact trip an infinite amount of times. I remember saying to myself in my head in a panicked tone” no no no not again, not again” as it put me through the realization. It felt like I was somewhere where I could see everything. Indescribable and unfathomably terrifying. It was the definition of hell. At that point I thought the true reality was just hell. That this entity made up the universe but I was somehow the only person/entity to exist. There was no hope no goodness only false hope that it gave me to be able to trick me again for it’s own amusement. My entire existence was that of torture and the definition of loneliness. It was absolutely terrifying. I Occasionally get seconds of the terror when i really focus on the experience. As if I’ve forgotten it and can only remember the full experience for what seems like a couple of seconds. Weird. Super weird. You’ll get over it eventually if it messed you up as much as it did me. Idk couldn't you imagine some "types" of people that would have this type of experience? I mean everyone the dude talked to was skittish about exploring the stranger realms, it sounds like he's in a really closed off and stiff environment, hyper materialist. Plus in the end he said he felt like he had felt like he'd been given a second chance after seeing all the darkness in his life--it still sounds beneficial. There's a literalness to the phrase "scared the hell of 'em"

Pretty sure it was the Adderall, some embellishment, and improper dosage within proper timing. It can be hard to get the 3 hits in the proper amount of time. Many times I got stuck after the 2nd cause I was tripping so hard and by the time I got the 3rd hit the build up of DMT in my receptors have dissipated and frazzled them enough so that the breakthrough attempt would be shot. Once mixed a stimulate with DMT accidentally and it made my brain feel like it was in a blender, no visuals just unpleasant.

I have very little experience with DMT myself (just one hit small-ish hit I wasn't ready for), but I don't know if this aggressive blast-off mentality is healthy. Sure, that's what is required for a breakthrough, but wouldn't something that profound be better approached gradually? Why not work your way up to those kinds of doses over several months or a year? See what you can learn at the threshold as you get comfortable. Then you may willingly jump into a breakthrough dose instead of forcing yourself and ~maybe~ letting go.

Despite what you're claiming, I personally wish I had everything you spoke about already and to risk being absolutely miserable than working for it every day. Yeah I heard the same stuff. People a true DMT trip will rip you out of this universe, out of your personality, and out of all memories and preconceived ideas. It can take practice to breakthrough. Be in a good headspace and a comfortable environment as with all psychedelics. Don't mix with stimulates and weed will dull the experience. I recommend to not smoke weed for as long as you can before planning a DMT trip. And let go don't fight the ego death portion that the 2nd hit can bring, 3rd hit will blow you past that. Also if possible try to silence any man made noise. You can have a breakthrough anywhere cause you are taken out of this reality completely. I personally like to be in nature and comfortable when I've done it. Hope this helps someone.

Everyone thinks they've taken too much once they're there, almost certainly they haven't. The likelihood of a bad trip apparently has a lot to do with anxiety, and how much of an anxious and depressed person you are. The mentality you go into a trip with really determines the outcome, it's entirely psychological. If you try to fight the trip, you're gonna have a bad time. It's there to teach and you're there to learn. Go into it with mindset of a knowledge hungry student. If you're not in a good place psychologically it's better to use conservative amounts of psilocybin to get better rather than jumping straight into DMT at once. Depression is a chemical catch-22 that requires something, like antidepressants to break out of that loop. I've never heard of one positive story where someone mixed speed with DMT, or anything else with DMT for that matter. Get EVERYTHING out of your system before you jump in and make sure you are mentally in a good place.

Nah, those near death experiences are not psychedelic and DMT has an extremely high amount of psychedelic. NDEs are usually very clear, easy to remember and not chaotic like DMT and other psychedelics. They go to another place they believe is real and they meet entities and such, but these entities are not psychedelic. These are actual, religious figures from the past. Same with dreams. Dreams are not usually psychedelic in nature. Dreams are usually a strange representation of what we are thinking, but it's not bright and colorful with jeweled, self dribbling basketballs, it's just a weird representation of what we see everyday. DMT is something completely different, but it does have some sort of function in nature. It is certainly very odd what it can do to you and the things you see, where do they come from, because you could never think up some of these things in these trips?

Question for experienced trippers: When people say to "surrender" to the trip/experience does that mean to fully go with everything, including bad things like fear? Like if I see something scary and feel myself getting really afraid do I allow it to continue or resist it and try to calm myself down?
@jimit.42202 ай бұрын
Ehh it's hard to explain, but for me I have no fear at all when I let go during a trip, but I can have it if I don't, it's like you have to let go of the fear itself, then scary things won't be scary anymore. Basically you just have to accept everything for what it is, without judgement, because fear stems from judgement.
@desertweasel69652 ай бұрын
Yes, you treat it like a movie where you are the observer and cannot be hurt. Even through the scariest of times, check yourself and you'll see that you are in no pain and these things cannot actually get to you, because they are not real. Yes, letting go includes, especially, the bad or difficult trips. Just let it happen and don't worry about a thing. Know that you have taken a completely, physically safe substance, a substance that was created by Earth. You are totally safe, just like if you are watching a horror movie. You are afraid, but you also feel safe, because you are not part of the movie. I always focus on being the observer. I never go into a trip with a specific intention like people talk about. I just go into every trip like I'm walking into a huge, IMAX movie theater. I've also found that any time something negative or strange pops in my head it's easy to just divert your thoughts. That's why I love watching television on shrooms. It is so hilarious, because nothing makes any sense and it keeps your mind fully engaged and entertained. The only time I had a truly bad trip is when my stomach problems hit me during my peak. I already had bad stomach problems and every so often go into the fetal position with unspeakable pain. I took around 4 grams dry that night and for the first 2 hours it was absolutely awesome like always. Then, a gurgling, a bubbling in my stomach and for the next 4 hours on the toilet in pure agony. By the end of it all I was laying in my bed letting out these 4 minutes long farts that literally shook the walls. Every time I would let one out I was filled with absolute euphoria until the next wave came. I would let out one that would literally last 4 minutes straight and then just start smiling.
