As a woman, mother, and daughter, I realized I needed to respect myself because I allowed others in. I even gave them control over my body. I had the Nexplanon birth control for about two months, but I decided to take it out. Before that, I kept having unprotected… yeah, and I kept taking Plan B. I was breaking my soul, basically. Being on birth control made me feel out of control-not because I had it, but because I wasn’t making better decisions for myself. If I practice celibacy, why would I need birth control? I am in control now and focused on making better decisions for me-no one else.
