The way you simulate the timing of a pianist's fingers progressing through each chord is maybe the best part about this. The perfect tone is novel and impressive, but the pianist "finger timing," whatever you'd call it, it's such a simple but extremely convincing nuance that just makes all the difference in the world. What an awesome skill.

@Ayustria Salma no such pedal exists, there is a casio guitar which can be played with MIDI, but the only way to turn guitar notes straight into MIDI notes like this is the one I mentioned

@Ayustria Salma i don't know if you've used MIDI guitar 2, but it has come quite far over the last 7 years, and yes there are some dynamics in his playing here but it does not sound like a natural piano either, there is a clear minimum velocity that you can hear. that being said, if his precision is good enough that he can make the casio MIDI guitar sound that good then there is no reason to doubt that he can't make MIDI guitar 2 sound good. or maybe it's edited in post ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ fuck knows

MIDI tracker, there's both pedals and plugins you can get for your PC. It's not one of the physical gadgets that can do this though, cause that would be say, clipped onto the bridge

There are plugins that can convert guitar DI into midi, then you just play that midi through a piano plugin. Its normally not perfect though so maybe he edited the midi after to make it sound perfect.

@@dinofanta222 vsts are a lot more powerful than you think. Typical analog keyboard vs virtual pianos can provide the same type of sound generation. Decades of audio engineering has made it so it’s difficult to distinct a physical piano with a synthetic sound. Sure this may not sound like a piano but he is playing it on the guitar. MIDIs can automate the ADSR, resonance, and loudness of the piano just by itself! At the end of the day, the quality of a physical piano and the quality of a digital piano are more or less the same, especially through a video that digitally computes the sound back at you with speakers.

@@nhutpham2581 yes i'm aware i've been using vst pianos for years now and even a midi keyboard connected to a vst doesn't sound as organic as this guitar which youre telling me is connected to some kind of guitar to midi method whether it be pedal or vst sounds more natural than my actual keyboard does. Listen to this with headphone and listen to literally any piano vst and if you cant hear all the subtle nuances that make a piano what it is vs samples then i cant help you...

Maybe with 10 strings (= 5 fingers x 2 hands) you can be more proximal to piano at full performance. But we can have a greater polyphony using the foot pedal. Well, but you play really good 😊

Ive never seen a 10 string would have to be custom made ive seen 6,7,8 and 9 strings ive never seen a 10 string nor would i be able to guess what it would do i do play guitar im pretty sure it would have to be special made wich is real expensive
