I think 2. Qf5# is not a 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩, b/c it doesn't occur in any possible variation.

I’m not sure I understand what you mean, if g4, Qf5 threatens mate.

Then black has 2 legal moves, 1) PxP, then f4 is mate, or 2) d5, then Qe7 is mate
