Love your card!!! Taping the alphabet or whatever small things to purple tape or washi tape makes coloring easier :)

I love a Gina K Imagan ink and I just got Ink on 3 and I loooove it. Both of those are for any type of coloring, and that is the type of inks I like! Love your card, as usual!

I really enjoy watching your videos 😍 Thanks for sharing your projects! Archival Ink is not good for colouring with alcohol markers but you can use it for water based markers like the Zigs or Karin Brush Markers. For copics you have to buy for example Memento Tuxedo Black or Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink . There are even some hybrid inks available, which means they can be used for any media , like the gina k. Amalgam ink or the My Favorite Things ink 😊

I made this mistake too when I first started with copics! I thought Archival Ink would be good to go, but no, it smudges with the alcohol markers unfortunately! My go-to are the Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink which are both alcohol marker friendly! LOVED THE VIDEO! THANK YOU FOR SHARING! I have shrink paper I've been wanting to use, I think I'll use it to make this, AHHH!

I think you're looking for Memento tuxedo black, that one is good for copics. (I'm currently using lawn fawn Jet Black) Archival ink is more for water based coloring.

I'll probably just go out and buy some new until I do the digging though my craft room -- it's surely in the mixed media corner.... I love that you are using the stamped shapes as shaker elements! Archival ink is great for water brush markers but not for alcohol markers. If you can get your hands on some LF jet black ink, it's a dark black and works with both alcohol & watercolor. This card is so cute, I love those crayons 🖍 I'm working on some shakers too, they're just so much fun! TFS 💜

Basically you want a waterbased or hybrid ink to use with Copic markers, so the 2 won't react and dissolve each other. I use either Memento tuxedo Black or MFT Extreme Black Hybrid ink. Get whatever is easiest for you to get hold of. Avoid solvent or oil based inks (e.g. archival or Versafine). I've seen people use V/fine but you usually have to heat set and leave it over night, say a prayer and hope for the best. Personally, I'd rather get a better suited ink!!!

Wow that looks fantastic! Memento Tuxedo Black has always been my go to for many years when using my Copics. Can I also ask you what glue you find the best for papercraft?

I love this so much!! I think I’m going to pick up some shrink plastic to experiment with 😁 I really like the inks that work for both COPICs and water based pigments. Momento Tuxedo black doesn’t work with watercolor and it’s more of a dark grey. I’ve been using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink and it’s been a winner! Hope you find something you like. Oh, I never have had luck with the archival. Momento, Gina K, Lawn Fawn, and (I believe) Altanew (the BLACKEST of all!) Edit to day: the Altenew Obsidian is only safe with water-based mediums. Still, it’s the BEST.

I’m glad I’m not the only one, I feel like I’ve seen heaps of crafters use this ink, but it’s really not what I hoped it would be. I agree, Lawn Fawn ink is 👌🏼 just amazing! I’ll keep the other brands you mentioned in mind too, thank you for your suggestions!

You are better with Memento ink. The archival ink is more for watercolor or mix média. Very nice card.😊💙

Put your shrinky in a box to keep it from blowing away from you & you also won't have to hold it.

You need an alcohol friendly ink. I know you can use Lawn Fawn Jet Black Ink and Memento Ink. Your card is so fun.

Archival ink does not go well with alcohol marker! Its better with water based markers!
