I’m with you 110%! I watch a creator that films his intros and it’s always, “ Aight! Can someone make some noise for…” I’m always like, “someone!?!” Another one I watch says things like, “what, what, what, what let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!” In the middle of a set. Just shut it and play the music!

I AGREE WITH YOU 100,000 PERCENT!!! Bruh I get SUPER annoyed with Dj's that talk too much during their sets. I'm that guy while I'm cleaning the house, working in the garage or whatever who'll if I'm not listening to a previous set I've done will tune into to Twitch and watch another Dj do his thing. If I've tuned in to your channel I'M IN IT FOR THE MUSIC. While streaming or Djing at a live event we all are obligated to interact with our audience, BUT THERE ARE LIMITS PEOPLE. I've experienced too many occasions where I'm listening to a Dj's set and they've started playing one of my favorite songs and dog is just blabbing the whole way through it! If I'm at the club or something and I get up to dance to a tune that I like, I've got up to dance to the song, not your hyper activity. Unless your like Steve Aoki or somebody to me there isn't a whole lot of incentive for the listener to hear you talking so much, a lot of Twitch streamers are infamous for it. They'll get into a full blown conversation with ONE person in the stream about stuff that no one but the two of them know about while ignoring the rest of the viewers in the process. Its like that guy would spams you with his Dj drop in every other song in their set, SMH.

I mostly agree but I also slightly disagree specifically about intros. Yeah don't be corny, don't over do it. But before I introduce the parents, I ALWAYS kind of "warm up" the crowd. I go out in front of the crowd, introduce myself and say something like "Ladies and gentlemen before we begin I want you to grab those napkins and on the count of three I want you to wave those napkins around and make some noise so (insert bride and groom name) can really feel the love. Ready. 1, 2, ,3." and like you said I get so many compliments from photographers and venue managers who say they have never seen a dj do that before and obviously my couples enjoy it. If you're just going out there ok lets start the introductions heres johnny and becky here's so and so. You're missing a real opportunity. Obviously, corny jokes, games while dismissing tables, talking over music, calling people out for not dancing all that is played out. Dont do that. But there are spots where you can have a bit of fun bouquet and garter toss is another place.

Most them are not real djs , they that cause they have a controller. They Dj Khalid now or Dj drama so they want to be heard and seen. Been Djing since 85 , I know how to play good music that my crowd likes

i was always too shy to talk .Like many a club dj i like to get behind the gear and get on with it but i will engage with individuals and small groups on a personal level but MCing i would leave to others ...if there was an other....
