I thought I would mention, when you have a monorail over a road and you build a traffic light, the lights will apply to the road and the monorail. Easiest fix is in TM:PE timed traffic lights and set the monorail traffic lights to always green for all steps. That stops your monorail stopping for traffic lights when it does not have to. That might speed up the monorail line between the zoo and the amusement park.

RE: junction selection at 3:40 Looks like most of your junctions are system interchanges (highway - highway junctions) and you don't have many system interchanges (highway - street) which can be a bit more compact. If you're really looking to save space and don't mind being a bit less realistic to life, you could extend a lot of the sweeping curves, etc. elevated over the water/island area to save on prime real estate.

I love these videos....please keep them coming. My only issue with this one is the plant life in the zoo itself. I love your tree and plant placement throughout the city....but most zoos and theme parks love to have bright and huge flower gardens with lots of colours....usually in a pattern if they can. So that would be the thing I would change is remove a lot of the trees and put gaudy flowers here and there to make it more like a typical fancy park.

I really think this city could do with some realism additions and some things to flesh it out. City planner did similar in a video but I'd like to see it expanded upon. With it being a huge tourist /college city there is inevitably going to be some disparity between the living situations so I'd say you should find am area to do some lower income housing such as trailer parks and such like city planner did BUT you should also find a place to put a richer area with it themed with mansions and the like. Perhaps a gated mountain community of some sort? Do with that as you'd like obviously but it's just a thought :)

Still waiting for that airport good sir. Another great island addition could be a golf course. That'd be fun 🤷♂️. As for the zoo...I have a few. 1) Tea World is a simple one...(for Sea World. I know they have a bad reputation, but your sea creatures aren't in an enclosure, they're free). 2) Matcha-Mammal Safari Park 3) The Zealand Zoo (Replacing the T with a Z because it's a zoo could work) 4) There's a type of tea in California called Numi Tea so Numi Nature Reserve could work as well... As always, love the content Biffa. Good day to you 🙌

This map has alot of great natural features. What might be exciting to see is if you can create a canal that flows over the railway and highway you've just changed. Looks like you can change the three rivers into 1 semi larger river but make it a man made canal that flows over the highway and railway. Lower the highway/railway below the water level and mabe use key walls to make it a man made canal?

Yumbl did a tutorial video about a really cool intersection that is small, visually appealing and minimizes left turn clashes which he calls "single point urban interchange". The zoo's parking lot road is set up like a round-about, but it's going clockwise, but shouldn't it be going counter-clockwise? As it stands, traffic leaving the parking loop has to cross traffic entering the traffic loop from the main road. The zoo itself is looking amazing. I love the idea of using spotlights on the floating alien rocks. Would be cool if you could have the alien rocks randomly blare out the 5-note sequence from Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
