of course not, she doesn't hate angels, just thinks Adam and his protege are d*cks, and definetely gets along with Serenity who is very like her in nature. The other angel there but she is definetely hurt that Vaggie withheld that information from her. also, it's strange that she didn't offer to show Vaggie as a possible redeemable demon if she didn't know.

Well I wouldn’t count her as an Angel really. Granted her dad is one, but her mother is still technically a demon. (Since she was a mortal who is now a demon). So she’s more of a half breed if anything. And I doubt she has any angelic powers at all.

Would she be a Nephilim? They're angel human hybrids. Lilith was the first woman, and Lucifer is a Fallen Angel. So would Charlie be a human angel hybrid type thing? It's confirmed that sinners can not reproduce in Hell. Lilith may be alive and just corrupted or something by hell. So she might be alive...

This song might be one of the hypest moments so far. It's basically a whole discussion in the form of a song and Adam & Lute's section goes hard as well as the Hell is Forever reprise. My favorite part is that we finally have someone in heaven who believes in redemption, ever since I saw Emily's trading card months ago I had a feeling that someone that cute looking couldn’t be an antagonist.

We also saw in helluva boss that the requirements to fall from heaven are borderline Draconian and beurocratic. Ends justify the means and neither nuance nor intention has any influence. And this then extends to the extermination, it doesn't break the rules despite how morally wrong it is and Sera clearly knows this but has also convinced herself through the system that it was necessary rather than deal with the reality of the situation.

I agree with what someone else I saw said. It's possible Sera felt guilt and regret during the first few exterminations but then over time started to enjoy them a little because that smile is not one of guilt or shame, it's a smile of pure evil.

What’s so hard to understand? She obviously doesn’t care about those living in hell, why should she? The whole system is stupid but she lives within it so why give a shit. Hell is mostly filled of deplorable people. Murderers, Criminals, Thief’s Dictators, warmongers. Sure do such actions deserve eternal punishment I don’t think so but that’s the world they live in. So why should Angels allow Hell to become powerful and overpopulated? What is gained in that scenario.

@@et5216 At this point we don't actually know if all the people in hell are bad. The angels don't know what gets someone to heaven or hell. So, for all they know 80% of the "sinners" in hell could've been there for very petty reason or even self-defense. Based on this episode we can no longer say that everyone in hell is bad since we don't even know the rules of heaven and hell and what gets people sent to those places in this universe.

I'm hoping the conclusion is Emily getting Heaven to reverse their policy and accept that Sinners can become worthy of redemption and entry into Heaven. Which by the same token means an Angel can become unworthy of remaining in Heaven, and Adam's ass gets kicked straight to Hell.

Vaggie is initially confident she could fight Alastor despite knowing his story (ofc he scares the shit out if her after, so) when they first meet in the pilot, and that she could easily handle the entire mafia with full on artillery attacking the hotel in Episode 5. Shes definitely not weak - getting her wings back would be awesome af

What irks me about this while thing is there are so many angels there, probably all high ranking in the background...but they all just stay to be that...background. NOBODY speaks one word against one or another, nobody bats an eye about the extermination, nobody scolds Adam, nothing. They could have included some by-singers or just some lines spoken, like as how Charlie speaks a few lines trying to stop Adam when he is singing in the first episode.

...Jesus was the one who ostensibly introduced the idea of eternal punishment and reward after death. The Old Testament only ever refers to Sheol (an afterlife described much like an eternal dreamless sleep) and Gehenna (a literal place you can actually go and visit in Judea that is often mistaken for a punishment afterlife by modern Christians). I'll fully acknowledge that Jesus was all for forgiveness and uplifting the sinner and downtrodden, but he rather clearly limited that to before the person died. To put it frankly, he'd be right along Sera, not happy about what Adam and Lute are doing but permitting it since the deceased already had their chance.

I don't think he is, I think it's his default form. The exterminators are likely the only ones that go down there and in order to keep their identities hidden they wear masks, which is why Lute didn't wear it for the most part in this clip

Charlie probably knew Vaggie was an angel all along, but didn't care at all. She saw someone in need, and helped them. Charlie doesn't strike me as the type to be afraid of an angel, even one who had killed her people at one point. Vaggie is clearly not that person anymore.
