I watch for two reasons. One to get good archery information and two I like Kramer's personality. Kramer is young, excited about life and curious. The combination draws me into his world and the excitement it contains. Bravo Shatterproof !

Kramer, I swear you once said that you're dyslexic. Maybe not. I am, and I also notice with me and my 2 nephews that are all dyslexic, we take things literal and a lot of jokes are lost on us. I usually can see that it's supposed to be a joke, but don't see the humor in it. And sometimes it makes me a little gullible, which my brothers love to exploit all the time.

I watched that video and was like….what??? No entertainment, humor, how to, improvement. I saw no point in it. I would have left a thumbs down for wasting my time if it would have been someone else besides you. Figured you had a lot going on and didn’t have the time to put into a real video, or maybe needed to get your hits up. A lot of others will do that. Sjouthave known you wouldn’t.

Just a received a Shatter Proof Archery tab and I fell in love with it on the first shot. This tab made my release quieter. I know it's the archer and not the equipement but this tab made a difference. Very high quality as well. Thank you Shatter Proof Archery!

Even though the AI generated video is beautiful (thanks to your filmography skills), it lacks your natural energy which is what makes your videos YOU. That is something AI cannot generate!

I don't watch shorts so I can't comment on what I would have thought if I saw it outside of this video, but after this video I have to say that wasn't your best work... Because it wasn't you, Kramer. Half the reason I watch your videos is for the personality, the motivation and the inspiration YOU bring to them. Keep doing your own work mate, you're brilliant at it! You are Shatter Proof, AI will never do it as well 👍🏼

If you are making something cinematic you have to stretch the audio by about 20%, or play it 20% slower. You have to feel it by adjusting the tempo until it sounds good, but cinematic things are just a little slower. Also, get as close to the mic as you can to get the deepest frequencies for higher quality voice. You may need a "dead cat" to fix the blowing on the mic noises.

Some better / stronger / more focused lighting on the arrows being show could be helpful too. The existing ambient light and the few lights you had in there were not really cutting it from a lighting standpoint

Didn't see the AI video, will look for it. Think that AI has its place (not that it's going to just go away eh!) but it's not the be-all, end-all thing. Don't think that AI will ever be able to match the excitement and enthusiasm that makes your videos enjoyable to watch. This is a good video in that it gives the viewer an idea of the planning, setup and editing that goes into making a video. There's a lot more to it than doing a selfie! I make the occasional DIY video and use my drone as a mobile cameraman... you can get otherwise impossible shots as it follows along, no tripod required. Cheers!

Ha... I did see that short. It felt like you were experimenting with something but, no, I did not pick up that the script and some of the shot list were AI generated. I 'do computers' for a living! And I did not notice it was AI. I did enjoy watching this 15 minutes way more than that short though. Why? Because sir... like all the best youtube content generators you have two crafts. The one you're showcasing, and videography.

Gonna post 2 replies to this as my 2 responses to the title and video. First is a Knee jerk and second will be more thought out. Don't want 1 of them to get more notice than the other and get blown out of context.
@destroyer16752 ай бұрын
Knee jerk - I'm a little annoyed and disappointed you did this experiment on us without heads up. (The heads up being the biggest point.) To my knowledge even placebo medical trials tell testers that they may be given a placebo. As far as I know you didn't give us a heads up about the AI video either as a short video or a community post. I'm sure content creation about the modern archery topic can be difficult since you can only post about so many things before you start repeating videos. After all there are only so many ways to build a bow or shoot one. I wouldn't expect you to suddenly shift to more history focused videos which is possibly one of the reasons you don't post videos often. And I also know you have the business side of your channel as well and am sure you help with that since I don't think you have a massive team on that side. Not entirely sure how to end this now so I guess this is that and I'll watch the video now.
@destroyer16752 ай бұрын
After video response Ok glad it was just a Short and not an entire video. Makes me feel slightly better. Extra glad it wasn't AI VIDEO like I thought before watching and just AI Script. (Comparatively at least.) Couldn't find a Community post so still upset about that part. Also couldn't find an answer on if placebo testers know they make be testing a placebo. Glad you decided that AI wasn't the right fit for you and I agree it isn't.

„You didn‘t notice I posted an AI generated video“ Yup. Because you didn‘t post one. Of course we don‘t notice where the script comes from. Sometimes it‘s even hard to tell if there‘s a script for some videos at all. (Not for your videos, but from other channels ;) ) If you generated video-sequences for this script, we would notice, I guess. None of the usual warmth, more like an ad - and that‘s what I thought was the intent. When I watched the video, I remember it feeling strange though.

Kramer., several thoughts... First, GenAI prompt engineering is a learned skill. While okay, your prompt, perhaps, could have used at least two more iterations to polish it. Second, the YT short form is a very hard platform for a "sales" video to motivate folks to either try trad archery or stick with their first tough trials. Finally, I LOVE every one of your videos! While I yearn to shoot again and return to my workshop, living in an apartment in NYC...yeah, well...

Well I don't really watch shorts so no wonder I didn't see it until now. But AI videos are 👎 for me. They feel.. non human in a way? Like impersonal company speaking to you or trying to sell you something. No charachter, weird word choices, every sentence tries to be eye catching, there's no energy.

Not really happy about this whole experiment. When you grow to trust a creator and their content, it feels a little like a betrayal to learn that they have deliberately deceived you. Even if it is for an experiment like this, and even after the reveal, it still leaves a very bad taste in the mouth. Please don't do this again.

Ok, so we need a “war bow” for the people, for when the ********* is depleted. Should be single stave, at least 50lbs, either easily built, or a partial build started by Shatterproof Archery😮 Long bow, recurve or something in between 🤔 Thousands of them, “twice as long as a man”. Maybe not that long, but you get it. I’d pay extra for a branded piece by you. 👍🥷
