I remember you from sfxt too we played a few times on 360 i use to xiaoyu and sakura its crazy what they did to the game even i quit cause online was dead just put the extra time into sf4 but at the time teaming up with my homie in ranked was one of the most funnest thing i like about THIS game 2v2 1v1 or 2v1 aspects when in ranked and its fair too

Love SFxT. I’m a Tekken fanatic and I think Capcom did a fantastic job representing the Tekken feel in a Street Fighter game. That’s a near I possible task, but they did a great job. In fact if it wasn’t for the awful gem system this would be one of my favorite fighters.

Certain characters needed the gems. Without them they weren't viable. Plus that made the game unique, they should've actually went deeper with it.

@@ssjrosethanos1996 as a rog main I agree. Completely unplayable without gem and pairing him with a good character like Nina.I think a big issue with the characters that are at the bottom of the list is they don't have any good midscreen combos.

I always just ignored gems in this game. My only real issue with the game was the way health bars worked. I wish rounds would go until both characters lose instead of just 1. There is still fun to be had with this game though.

Me too I like the idea of having to conserve and manage health but in practice it’s a lot more satisfying doing a full team battle like in MvC

I agree, but with how 60% matches end in time outs, that’d make it so much worse. If they did that they’d have to double the time limit (which they should do anyways).

I saw, at Evo, a SFxT tournament, two players vs two players. And during one set, the second player on one side didn't even get a chance to play, because the other team just destroyed his partner - and the partner couldn't tag in until he'd actually hit someone. I felt bad for the guy.

I love this game. Out of all the 3D fighting game SFxTekken is the only one I like. I am sad that Crapcom's greed and stupid marketing destroy the success of such fun game. I still play the game today with friends; ONE of the BEST coop fighting game ever!

They kinda fixed the timer problem in 2013. Didn't make it longer but hp regen is way less and you can take grey life with normal throw. And combos tended to be faster and more damaging

@@Jaybaybay2838 Lol, clearly i'm very confrontational, i'll dial it back. Timer could be slowed down by half a second, but generally it doesn't impact the majority of matches. This more so has to do with Wong notoriously playing lame.

Horrible PR moves by Capcom. Some people datamined the discs and found day-one DLC on it. It was content that was finished and ready to go as evidenced by being on the discs, but Capcom charged players to unlock it, calling it "DLC." That killed the buzz of the game really hard. There were other factors, but that was horrible press from the very beginning.

If they remake sfxt again but this time with everything (all characters) available on the get go with the latest update included on physical version for ps4, xbox and switch. I would buy it in a heartbeat, showing capcom that my wallet goes with quality and quantity. Is not a bad game, but cutting content for greed is not the way I support the company.

Nice, also a someone that likes the yugioh. There used to be a card game that flopped, was called UFS i think and had fighting game characters from different games. There was a soul street fighter, king of fighters, dark stalkers and soul calibur that i remember

I wanna play this game again so bad man. It was in such a good state after the 2013 patch but by that time most people had dropped it, I had the game on PS3 which was the worst version (and I stupidly sold it in like 2016) and now it's unpurchasable officially! I'd buy it Day 1 if they announced a remaster with modern rollback netcode.

Actually you can download it on pc for free from a couple websites I know and u can add mods, stages and new rosters and if u have a modded ps3 it came with it I used to have one but sold it in 2019 such a good memories

I firmly think this is the most fun 3D sf game. My only gripe with the game, and it’s a major one, is the lighting engine. The characters look reflective and metallic in a way that looks terrible. If only this game stuck to sf4s lighting.

It's a shame what happened with this game. Felt like ever since the gems were announced the entire product became cursed with a series of issues and misfortunes pre, during and post release. It was actually in a good place right before the 2012 patch and said patch also did the game some good but it was too late by then. Everyone already moved back to SFIV or MvC3 and let SFxT dry out.

You don't often get very strong oki situations due to a lot of how characters move and also how far attacks knock you back. Also the corner is really far usually.
