@JW Well you also won't have to pay child support on those kids either. You're biological kids are always your responsibility. Sure some places make step fathers pay child support, but they also have the same parental rights as a biological parent would so they have to grant custody rights or at least visitation rights. Maybe some men are better off raising other peoples children because there's no permanent responsibility. They may just like raising kids. To each his own though.

It is strongly recommended to not marry a single mother, yet, when a successful man is telling you he is happy with his choice, his family is together, structured, intact, and well adjusted, then believe him when he says he is happy. I have a friend who is a widow and her kids are grown and out of the nest. She has turned 3 men down who wanted to date her coz they had kids who are 10-13 years. She told me she tells them she is not interested coz she in another space in her life. She doesn`t want to be anybody`s stepmother. She wants to travel and even go for dinner in the middle of the week without thinking about it. A man with young kids will demp that. She said she has no problem that the man has kids but the kids have to be grown and out on their own. She told me the men she has dismissed get shocked when she tells them this. I get her. For example Jeff Bezos ex wife got a billion dollars in her divorce. She remarried to a 5th grade teacher who probably makes less than 50 k a year. She has four children from her previous marriage.
