Nkosi sikelela was written by a South African Enoch Sontonga in 1897 or so, originally in isiXhosa and Sesotho, when did it become a gift from Zim? Don't deceive people please

Perhaps I’m not aware of them reacting to our content but I’m just stating my opinion and what I’m seeing as an increasing trend. They don't even understand or know anything about South Africa and its history or culture. Also, Americans speak a grand total of 1 language & they literally massacre that language! So, please explain to me how Americans are competent to comment on or react to this sketch, let alone understand it properly?

And then Zuma went on to create a looting spree that killed his own people and cost their jobs. This is old. South Africans know what the anthem means, we know. It is a prayer to God. Even if they do not know the translations, they respect it. Because they know it is a prayer to God for Africa. This is old and I would love it if Trevor would redo this comedy skit now. America messed him up and even accused him of being racists which was ridiculous. Language: isiXhosa and isiZulu Nkosi Sikelel' iAfrika (God Bless Africa) Maluphakanyisw' uphondo lwayo, (Raise high Her glory) Yizwa imithandazo yethu, (Hear our Prayers) Nkosi sikelela, thina lusapho lwayo (God bless us, we her children) Language: Sesotho Morena boloka setjhaba sa heso, (God protect our nation) O fedise dintwa le matshwenyeho, (End all wars and tribulations) O se boloke, O se boloke setjhaba sa heso, (Protect us, protect our nation) Setjhaba sa South Afrika - South Afrika. (Our nation South Africa - South Africa) Language: Afrikaans Uit die blou van onse hemel, (Ringing out from our blue heavens) Uit die diepte van ons see, (From the depth of our seas) Oor ons ewige gebergtes, (Over our everlasting mountains) Waar die kranse antwoord gee, (Where the echoing crags resound) Language: English Sounds the call to come together, And united we shall stand, Let us live and strive for freedom, In South Africa our land.

The hymn the anthem is based on is an originally South African hymn composed by Enoch Sontoga around 1897. It was then translated and adapted into multiple languages. It was used in multiple struggles songs and anthems across Africa hence so many similar sounding old and newer anthems. But the fact remains it is based on a South African hymn
