Oh wow, once again proven that a Studio its good but does not determine wether you get the shot or not! Funny how back in the days of Film a lot will be influenced by the Film you had in the camera, today with Digital and how noise/grain free images are so much can be achieved. Thank you Peter Coulson for all you share in this wonderful channel!

This was really good to watch. Making use of the environment and natural light. An eye for composition is really everything in photography. When people tell me that they can take the same photos on their cell phones as I do with my expensive camera, I always laugh, yes, the photo quality on cell phones is now really good, but if you don't have an eye for composition your photos are still going to look shit even on that fancy phone.

THese location shoots are my fav of yours. Yes your studio work is amazing but can get a bit repetitive if you know what I mean. I love when you go out in the real world with a handheld camera and do your thing. I learn so much more. I would like to see you out in nature as well. Show the beauty of doing black and white out in the wild.

Many thanks for this backstage session. - @Bec: I am very glad to see you again in this channel. I have noticed that there is more than one Bec, in a professional context, depending on the session type: introducing a backstage session, posing for funny photographs, posing for serious photographs, in a live session and in a podcast session. And you are so different in each of them! This means that you have a rich personality. I can see happiness; perhaps you should came back again to this city. BTW: I am paying more and more attention, each time, to your nails, because I already know how important they are for you. - @Shay: Many thanks for posing in this backstage session, for educational purposes. With you, the “came to life” effect has come to my mind; let me explain it in the following lines. The first time I knew about you, you were in photographs, in Peter’s web site some months ago. Then I paid attention to a video, a short movie actually, where there was motion; this means that the static photographs were transitioned to something more dynamic. And finally, now, with this backstage session, you fully come to life. This reminds me those stories, for children, where images in a book became a living a experience. - @Peter: many thanks for using a corridor and a room as an impromptu studio. I see there is not excuse to take photographs, regardless the location type. BTW: that is a really nice place to stay, I fully understand why you wanted to came back, once again. - @Shay: it is very good to know you have this dual rol: Model a Photographer. You are the fist Model, from Peter’s team, that I know about it. You understand both sides of the camera very well. - @Peter: I like a lot the poses having the Model at the end of a corridor, a corridor that doesn’t have any other way than through the Model. - @Peter: the game with the mirrors is excellent. Even with one of the first images, where the Model is behind you, in the mirror, blurred (0:42); she is the focus, for my mind. - @Peter: I have to admit that there is a distracting component, in your t-shirt. - @Peter: the best phrase, from my point of view is when you say (2:00): “…this camera is drowning me to the dark side…” - @Shay: the precise pose, when you remove your jacket (2:27), takes my breath away. I also like the pose when you have your arms up, leaning on the frame; because this reinforces the idea I mentioned before: through the Model is the only way, and She owns the full context. - @Shay: I also like a lot the brazen pose, when you raise your skirt up, on your back (3:22), crossed legs, and then you look at the photographer, in the same attitude (3:23). You are a genius. I already mentioned it in other post, that I like a lot the white light that can be seen between the parts of the body; this is also applicable here. I hope it doesn’t sound too weird my words, I am just telling what bring my attention and l like a lot. - @Peter: the best photography is at 3:34 - @Shay: priceless when the Photographer makes you smile (3:45, 6:26, 6:28). I think this shows how you really are (but I could be wrong, I don’t know it) - @Bec: I think you are really good with the video camera. - @Shay: It is nice to hear your voice (e.g. 4:54, 7:32, 8:42, 9:04) - Best video image at 6:52. The reason is that we weren’t able to see how great the Model and the Photographer are unless there was a great videographer behind all of this. - @Peter: I like a lot the images with the mirror, when we can see the model in frontal view and her back (7:45). They are very rich images. - @Bec: you are really good when you capture the Model and the Photographer, both in the mirror that is on the floor (8:27+) - @Shay: I like a lot your candid gaze, in the photography at 8:37 - @Shay+@Peter: the interaction between you both is very well captured at 8:45, when the Model is looking back, smiling at the Photographer. This image should be used to picture the relationship between both roles, if one day you decide to write a book about photography and Models. - @Shay: you have altered my heart rhythm at 9:51+ - @Bec: when you close this session, you do what you better know to do: to be a Star.
