It’s the same as in a gym setting. The coaches that have fighters are too busy training their fighters to pay attention to anyone else. The guys without fighters have extra energy to troll because they don’t get much out of training white collar boxers.

@@ftdcp4459 What's a white-collar boxer? I haven't heard of that term before.
@ftdcp44593 жыл бұрын
@@GrizzlyHansen Some people consider white collar boxers people who box with no plans of fighting. Usually corporate people/models. Go to Instagram and you can see white collar boxers in action. They only post videos of themselves hitting mitts horribly and nothing else. They don’t like to shadow box or practice footwork and think that it’s pointless and therefore they have zero balance when they actually attempt to spar because they’ve spent their entire time hitting something with weight behind it...they aren’t conditioned to miss punches and in a fight/sparring you miss most of your punches.

Good video. The hook and the jab can be both set up and power punches. In a three punch combo, finishing with the backhand, it's all about generating kinetic energy through the body, ensuring that the backhand lands with maximum power. A good way of generating more power in the hook is to jab then faint the right hand just an inch to shift your weight, thus placing you in prime position to throw a slamming left hook.

I spent almost 3 years training in a boxing gym and it opened my eyes. I absorbed everything I was taught about technique and the sport. I was left wishing I got into boxing a decade earlier rather than in my late 20s, but that took 6 years of service in the Army to get the confidence to walk into a gym. I stay humble and am always looking to learn from those with more experience than me. I refuse to be the keyboard boxing expert with no resume to justify calling myself picking apart the experts of the craft. Trolls need to either sit down and learn or stfu and go elsewhere

Hey, different trainers teach the same thing in different ways to set it up. When he mentioned that on his KZbin channel he made a point not to name any names. Yet inorder to land solid punches you have to open up at times. Like the beautiful bombs 💣 thrown by the brown bomber. Love your training! Thanks!

I'm gonna be honest I've watched all the channels and I think that Foust does the best job in terms of centering his content around a philosophy. Just because you have more experience in something, especially when it comes to sports (activities that don't center around semantics) that does not mean you are the best at teaching it. Foust has his own issues and insecurities (that hold him back too) I believe but as simple as his way of breaking stuff down is, I have as a person who practices martial arts in general, looked back at my techniques and it has given me perspective. That's not to say that you're content is not good. It is (I have learned from it ) and there are certainly things that Foust misses and ignores as well. I would say even when someone is criticizing you even out of insecurity it is best to understand that and then perhaps even take in the critique to see if it has validity regardless of intention but certainly not discredit it when it is not completely understood as that will weaken your own points. This video for example does not really address or criticize the core of what he preaches.

I gotta learn this. I've always been insecure about throwing my lead hook because I know it takes time because I always load up! EDIT: This video really talks to me. That 1-3-2 combination for me was impossible because I put too much power on 3 that I can't twist quick enough to put power on the 2 or I can't even throw the 2! I usually step back or roll after the 3 or throw a right-upper.

transition is good like previous vid, to think of it like transition better than this, because you either drop the hand or do transition, if you think like this stir is not good you may loss the drop hand, i must reload the body + drop hand to hit harder, tyrone spong do it both together like he drop it laterally+reload the body, i believe because you have small crisp punches that hand drop even when you drop it and reload the body same time in correct timing may work fine, i will stop one month ia have fatigue, i lift weights until i cannot my limit, thank you man
