Never tried a Bantam but hear very good things. I’ve been running four Zillion SV TWs in my boat and for $210 they are a great reel.

I think the casting on the Zillion is slightly easier than the Bantam due to the zero adjust. But the Bantam is built much more solid in my opinion. I had paint falling off the Zillion within 2 months of normal use.

Definitely agree my man!! I own every top of the line reel on the market at least one of Diawa or Shimano even Lews. (Including the Diawa IMZ limit breaker) I absolutely LOVE the new Shimano bantam! The new Metanium DC 70 is a close second to me. Although the new Steez is incredible it’s still double the price of the Bantam, can’t justify it.
