One of the rarer singles performed by Cornelius "Backhand" Jackson and the Four Fingers, 1965's "You Drive like Sh*t" was allegedly inspired when Cornelius, ever the progressive and a strong proponent of women's rights, began dating a then-unknown jazz songstress Ling Ling. The date put four people in the hospital and cost Jackson his prized Buick, prompting him to write and record this song. [5]
