I feel like Jaraxxus is one of those cards that's just special to a lot of people. He's one of those cards that made people say "Yo this Hearthstone thing is pretty rad." OOOOBLIVION! Edit: Yo Gigafin treachery is kind of hilarious.

True. They don't make cards like that anymore. I don't know what happened to the Voltrons and the Jaraxxuses and the Mekkatorques and the C'Thuns of the world. We saw some cards and skins that were emulating them (Mecha-Jaraxxus skin, Death Knight heroes, Marin the fox etc) But it's always just eh, it never captures the whimsical nature of some of the early cards, they just feel like wannabe copies. Every class legendary from GvG did something unique and cool. Not all were viable, not all were even good. But we all know the feeling of top-decking a random Leviathan or getting gahrzilla to a billion attack. Nowadays those effects aren't as cool because commons shuffle themselves into decks or put bombs in your opponent's deck or generate murlocs. But the legendaries that we do have feel so... bad. Wanna play za qul? Better build a whole deck around this one mechanic that's never coming back. Wanna play the druid legendary? Well better luck next explansion. Wanna play the mage one? Here's a more boring version of hex lord malacrass that enables solitaire combos. Beh

@@SaladDongs It was always an inevitability that sort of thing would happen. It's a lot easier to design unique cards when the number of cards only ranges in the hundreds rather than the thousands with at least 400+ needing to be made every year. It sucks, but I guess thats just what happens when a card game reaches this level of scope; what else are you supposed to do, not make as many cards and cause less people to buy up packs?
