@@jonathanvermillion7263 But they do know how to charm in the intro stage. The last text he sent me was 4 days ago " thinking of you 😘😍" I replied. He reolied " you are sweet, got to run now, talk soon xx". Nothing since then. So weird. I was on guard bc he was very exoressive from the start. Then got sick. Texted me daily and uodated on his flu so I assumed he was not lying but then he went on vacation. Said " after my trip im all yours hopefully we will be together soon". Then in his vacation he was quiet which I understand so I only texted once. He texted me he postponed his flight back bc he met a potential business oppertunity. He lives near my town and he spoke on the phone so I ruled out scammer scenario. It hurts especially bc he talked over the top. I was careful but it still hurts bc it felt like an open mutual connection. He said he won't let go of a nice woman like me. It sounds a bit charming red flag idk. Yesterday i texted him my thought calmly. No reply. I deleted his nr. It was just one month of talking but still painful the disrespect of first wanting to come so close to me and then when they are distracted not even caring how they make soneone else feel. That's how it looks to me. His words were probably all an act.

People are wack and avoidants are Straight up annoying mthr fkrs they dominate the APPs because they need and want attention and romantic love yet all they are capable of is dipping a toe in psyching you out then backing away. Exhausting and time wasting on every level. You must set the bar sooo low while dating that its a hard process to take seriously anymore. I think all these avoidant people are by products of 20 years of a 50% divorce rate.

If a woman ghosts me, that tells me a few things… 1. She’s not mature enough to communicate her feelings because she’s avoiding doing so by not communicating at all. 2. She lacks empathy and respect for others. 3. She isn’t relationship material Mature, healthy people have no problem communicating that they aren’t interested and/or what they want/don’t want. I’ve never ghosted anyone. I always tell people exactly why I don’t want to speak with them or have them in my life anymore. Women that ghost me? They get blocked and their number immediately gets deleted. I give people one chance. If you show me you’re selfish and immature by ghosting me, that’s your last chance. You’ll never be allowed back in my life. Healthy adults communicate. Toxic people avoid avoid avoid communicating.

Thank you for describing it, this is what it comes down to and helps me to remember I did the right thing with the man I dated 4 months Eventually after struggling with confusion and feeling ignored on and off, while I treated him (and anyone generally) with consideration/ respect, he would reply days later or go quiet for days in between dates. The dates were great and he would say " it was great seeing you again" then 4 days silence because of his work. Eventually I told him we are not compatible long term, with pain in my heart because in person he was the first decent man but I can't deny nyself and I felt mistreated.. He repllied he is emptionally unavailable and can't give me what I need. Fair enough so it ebded but then he said " we can talk more tomorrow". He didn't text anymore. I felt sad and for my own closure I texted him that he didn't need to promise and not follow up. I accepted he waa gone but then 3 days later he replied "allright...next week im travelling but after that we can talk". So...I openen up again. He didn't contact me anymore. I deleted his nr and I tell myself that if he cared about me or my feelings he wpuld not promise and then go quiet. It's dissapointing because he seemed kind but if I'm honest with myself he was not respecting my time and attention. I will not date for a while.

@@Anastasia11101 Thank you :) rationally I know this was not nornal behavior but because it's dating stage I get confused what's reasonable to expect? He said " unfortunately because of different expectations it's best for both to end the romantic connection although I really like you. So weird bc it was not sex focussed either. The last time he held my hand. But I also felt arrogance and when he mentioned 'expectations' it pissed me off. I didn't demand much. Easy excuses i go from thinkng I ruined it to feeling angry and sensing arrogant manipulation I told him I deleted his number and he said 'wow' . I think he did that on purpose to make me feel like the weird one. For me it was to let go nor out of ego. Anyway he is gone. Im glad with your reply I needed a reminder that he was just disrespectful and the charming side probably his act. Thanks again. I will definately not putting up with this anymore. He was attracting and rejecting at once Your reply gives me relief as if I can put it where it belongs. Some form of emotional abuse. In our first chat he said he looked fornan emotional connection with a woman. I didn't fall for him based on those words 1st date we walked for 1.5 hour talking. I keep telling myself: just because there are good sides it won't make up for the hurtful sides. I feel like your reply tackled my last piece of selfdoubt. He was just another assh in a gentle package. I was the one telling him we are not compatible bc I felt so bad. I did accept to much mistreatments but im also assertive so I will speak up. Result he is gone:) Good news im not yet dead and I know there are good men out there. Im going to try emdr therapy bc i do feel pain ftom rejection in me. In this way the sting from old wounds diminish in present situations. We will see. Long comment oops but YT is a good way to manage heart ache. I'm feeling better already and your confirmation that it wss indeed poor treatment helps too. Best wishes.

Hello. Almost similiar situation a guy at work approached me I was mind my own business , we talked exchanged numbers , texted . I soon started to realize he would text days later if not at all, then at work he acted like I was non existent, I would question why I was being treated like that but in the meantime when I did text first and he responded he would say the right things to get me to believe him. Long story short I saw him talking outside of work with a girl. I went in the building and texted him and that’s where he started to say cruel things via text and miraculously he was talking to someone. It hurts and I have to see them at work . I don’t even want to go to work anymore I have to pray every time to give me strength. I just want to know why he told lead me on and just not tell me he was not interested. Now I constantly beating myself up thinking she’s better than me I know he’s probably treating her better , texting her and spending his breaks with her.

Also don't forget that people will lack in effort to communicate if and when they fall into a depression or other mental illness. I've had a good friend almost all but stop responding to me, for months at a time, and I'll admit I was mildly offended but I just kept assuming what ever he was going through was worse than I way I felt about it and I never left him alone and we are as close as ever now, like we were after high-school and traveling. Just don't dismiss people right away sometimes they're struggling worse than we are. That said, don't over do it and reserve the right to give up if it isn't working out. You can't care for anyone if you don't care for yourself.

This is great and true. I got them on the no contact list permanently. They have been messging me after I told them I am completely removing myself. Told them we are not right for each other because they couldn't tell me if we are done or not. I told them that since they can't decide then I have to decide for us...They pulled away first and as a result, I walked away. Now they are messaging me. Its about access. When you take it away forever it can stress the system out lol but not my problem.

I'm going through this as we speak... I have been with her for 15 years, and we have been married for over 10 years. I lost my mom, my dad, my uncle, all, within 3 years.We moved across the country for a fresh start, Since being here I've lost my best friend, my brother and my job (layoff) And she wants out because I was shook as a man, lost my drive, my passion, self-worth, and confidence, and she's bailing on me. I feel like my heart is being ripped out right now.

Now I embrace that mindset of "Damn, shit happens. I liked you so much. Good luck out there tho". I see it as a W on my part, tbh. I lost somebody who half ass things. They lost somebody who truly had good intention.

I usually derive insane amounts of satisfaction by ghosting the ghoster. I will make them feel very good about themselves when they comeback after ghosting me,I’ll show that they mean the world to me. Then , once they get addicted to the attention that they receive, I’ll abruptly cut them off . I will not even open their texts , instead I add them to my Close friends on instagram and will post stories of me hanging out with other women , friends , ie I basically show them that I’m enjoying my life 😂😂etc. I love watching the ghosters go insane, their egos getting shattered, them getting self esteem issues 😂😂🎉🎉. This is payback my friends.💀💀💀💀😈😈😈. Ladies and gentlemen, just try my approach if you have ever been ghosted, I promise that it’s incredibly satisfying to watch them crumble🤡🤡. Unleash your villain arc, give them the taste of their own medicine.

I felt him pull away. I wished him well then blocked him for my own peace of mind. He didn't even get time to ghost me, pulling away from me was enough for me to be hurt. I never showed it but it did hurt, I just acted happy n fine but im not. Nearly a year later and I'm still not over it, he hasn't reached out but why would he when I pulled away. I don't regret my decision because I'm in my power, but I do miss him very much. Sometimes things are the way its supposed to be. Sometimes there is no clarity or closure, I don't like it but it is what it is. Still heart broken, but always think of him in love ❤️

Thank you. I've come to realize that this holds true with friends as well. I'm a loyal friend, but now I have stopped putting in effort to 'friends' who show me that my feelings of love and respect are not reciprocated. I've learned that my friendship (and me, as a person) has real value, and if someone can't appreciate what I'm giving to them, then it's time for my giving to stop. I let go with love, and move on. 😊
