I'm not a channel viewer but when I saw this crazy tow jag, I had to check you guys out. That thing is awesome, and I drive a tall Cummins 2500 and I know how crazy body roll can feel. One thing that struck me as odd, is that you guys didn't just haul your hobo sack in the area on top of the boom behind the headache rack, maybe a little higher but likely would have saved you all they swinging. Your wife is such a trooper getting nauseous in the back seat, that is never fun.
@RobB-z8oАй бұрын
UNDERATED MACHINE, OR ELSE PEOPLE ARE JUST HIDING HOW MUCH THEY TRULY LIKE IT, because in my opinion you could remove the boom, build a flat back rack floating above the bed and you could haul alot of gear plus the roof, the jag is my favorite build , kudos to all the other 😂builds but no denying the jag is so sweet and its a 4 door, work the kinks out and itll be even better, its the first time its ever truly been out, Matt's skills on building something are absolutely awesome.. that thing is so freaking cool...

Love the build, but that exhaust flapper rattle is killer. You should figure out a beefier non rattle-ie solution so we can hear that 12v greatness!
@bleepinjeepАй бұрын
its not just the flapper but also the chain steps, the cage through the roof, and more. Didnt realize chain steps would rattle like that but it just depends on the angle and the idle. The thing is quiet sometimes while others it rattles like crazy.
@itsm00tАй бұрын
@@bleepinjeep yeaaaah, but when you crank up the engine the exhaust flapper immediately goes into high pitch rattle mode. The sound is there even when the Jag isn't moving. I wonder if the sound is worse in video than in person...that can be a thing!

When I had my super duty with the 7.3 power stroke, when I was wheeling it the front couldn’t go below 25 psi or I would roll the tire off the bead turning on flat ground because of all the weight on the front axle.
@Garth2011Ай бұрын
Hope seems to be having much fun despite the "Pepto" needs. Nate is surly a risk taker not having any type of roll bar plus no shade at all. Very cool on Pauls pull out storage system. Looks like the Jag got a right rear door crease at some point...The Grail is a top heavy machine however, anything that long/large is always going to have similar issues on the trail. Very cool camp and cook plans, not hurting any on the meals out there. That steering arm could be replaced with a hardened part maybe to prevent what happened and I wonder if a different steering wheel would make things more doable. Could be the tire diameter being reduced or a narrower width might assist in how that Grail tends to rock on the trail due to the enormous sidewall give. Not bad for the first trip out though...all custom rigs don't tend to fair that well on the maiden voyages. Your talents and hard work paid off as does all of your shop equipment etc.
