Hey Cary! Im not a participant, but Ive been voting on the last couple episodes, and I think you need to use community posts more. Posts can bring awareness for when a new EWOW episode is dropping, or even just have a small visual easily available that shows the correct submission deadline, so EWOW contestants arent having to search/watch through a video just to find a single date. Its a really simple a quick feature that, in my experience, tends to come up a lot more frequently in subscription feeds, so it could help people who mightve missed the upload when it came out! Just my suggestion, but I hope it helps out in some way :)

cary's awesome, but tbh the high rate of people forgetting to respond is entirely cary's fault. he took over a month to release 1A, and then another month to release 1B, and barely gave the audience any updates during those waiting periods. this undoubtedly caused many people to lose interest, forget, or assume ewow was cancelled entirely. and now we're seeing the unavoidable repercussions of that.

I think it took me like 3 days to come up with a good response for this one because I realized how much more difficult it is with more votes and less responses. one of the following happened to nonresponders (taken from other comments on this video) -Algorithim threw them into a dumpster fire (didnt get any updates because they either didnt get notified or something else relatinbg to the algrotihimn) -As another comment on this video mentioned, cary made ewow 1a and 1b a month part, which led to one of three: --Forgetting EWOW Exists -- Losing intereset --Assuming ewow was canelled -there were also some people that couldnt respond because their device got taken away, timmy got grounded for 2 weeks and his ipad was taken away...😢😢😢

I wish there had been a message like this for EWOW 2. I was one of the people who forgot. It’s especially distressing because I thought that, with the initial weak competition, I wouldn’t lose a life until round 4 at the earliest. I’m at a severe disadvantage now. I can only hope that I’ll get that life back this round so I can be on equal footing once the real competition starts.

You said something about wanting to shorten the submission period to 3 to 4 days like TWOW to make things go faster - a good idea - and you said something about most EWOWers only taking like... a single session to think of a response and not the entire period. And while you're probably right about that, it's funny 'cause I'm complete opposite. I saw EWOW 2B pretty early (at most like... a day after the episode released), but submitted my response like... early morning may 5th (stayed up to submit it, probably bad but whatever). I thought of several different ideas, tried different methods... I wrote over 30 possible responses. 30 (exclamation point)! That's a bit excessive. I could probably condense all of that, since 1. I'm more used to EWOWing, and can whittle down a larger number of possible responses 2. I could instead write a couple of ideas for what the responses could be about, and possible methods I could use to write the sentence (like alliteration, wordplay, puns, etc...), and tones 3. I could just... write less responses. Anyways, I'm likely just an outlier and should not be counted. I think the majority of people are not doing... this. Though, I do wonder how many people do it in only one session, vs. mulling it over for a day or two, or something closer to whatever I did.
