My friends! By popular demand, we are turning the One Person Business Model into a series (and we also increased the audio quality). Here are previous videos from this series: The One Person Business Model (How To Productize Yourself): kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIuVn4aLgdSfgas The Rise Of The Value Creator (A Career Path For Polymaths & Self Improvers): kzbin.info/www/bejne/iKapm4xngrtngq8 If You Are High Value, Start A One-Person Business: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qZi7coR6icZmmqM In 2 weeks we will be going over a roadmap. The 3 stages you will evolve through as a creator and exactly what to do (from beginner to advanced). I also mentioned this video to supplement your learning and building: How I Remember Everything I Learn: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aH2ThZ2Kfq14fNE Hope you enjoy this one! Edit: when I told the story of me creating the products, it sounds like I was drunk driving. I wasn’t. I drove 3 hours to a concert, lost my phone there, slept at the hotel, and on the drive back that’s when I was having the ideas (having my friend/editor write them all down in his phone lol). Stay safe everyone.

Documenting your learning skill & build process (for example Js Developer) and do that in public (IG, Tik Tok, FB, YT) everyday while looking for jobs to apply. Is something that I'm doing over the past 2 months & recently the market start to validate my skillset by asking me about if they wanna work with me & not the other way around. This is a fascinanting experiment that can be lonely at the beginning and interest as you move on while knowing ppl with similar interest and perhaps make business. Thanks Dan for being a lighthouse on the galactic sea of irrelevance content out there.

Wow Dan, you really are persistent. This information is really about to save my life. I'm an ex heroin addict and now using my story to push myself and to grow into a role model for those who still suffer from addiction. I hope your day is magical and I've tried to reach out on FB but I know you only spend 30 min a day on there. But at any rate, I'd like to find a way to create value for you, in return for the info.

I don't have a problem with the idea that it may take a few years to become great, but I was really uncomfortable with other course creation "instructors" making it seem like making a 'hit' course was no more difficult than simply packaging and promoting my content, when I KNEW it couldn't be that easy. Thanks for the reassurance!

Dan - I’ve worked in the media for most of the past 40 years. There’s SO MUCH wisdom in your videos that mirrors what we’re taught about how to successfully program (especially) radio stations that I just had to laugh out loud when you used the DJ (disc jockey) analogy. You would be a GREAT radio station program director! Whether we’re programming country, pop, jazz, or even talk, the formulas are the same, the strategies are the same. It’s all understanding human psychology, studying the demographics and psychographics of your target audience, and then correctly identifying and meeting their needs. The variable YOU throw into the mix is telling us to ask ourselves, “What need can ** I ** meet?” which is the question we’re really answering when we examine what we’ve learned well enough to teach others. You are wise beyond your years, sir. Please keep sharing and inspiring!

Love you content and insights Dan! Your thoughts on the formal education system really resonated with me...I'm currently "stuck" in dentistry with 3 years minimum to go, but I think it´s very limiting in various aspects & I'm just doing it for being "safe" really. Discovered this new "path" through you and want to go for it, but there is a question I have - did you drop out of college when you already had something going for you on the side or did you drop out because you knew that it doesn't lead you to the life you imagined of yourself? If anybody else has thoughts on this, I'll happily read through it - just a 20yr old who seems to be the only one in my immediate social environment thinking about this and people tell me its a dumb idea to leave this safe route for going into online business. I know that only I can make this decision for myself, but hearing some thoughts from people with a like-minded mindset, might give some new insights, because I really am at my wits end haha :´)

I need to intervene again. There are three types of learning, not two as you mentioned, and you improvised second of them. 1. FORMAL EDUCATION, you described it well. 2. NONFORMAL, for example, this video service and other forms of learning that have structure but do not provide formal, public documents or diplomas. 3. INN-FORMAL EDUCATION, the most powerful form, composed of all possible life situations in which we learn, changing our behavior based on those experiences. Everything we imitate from our environment, family, relatives, all social groups, media... It seems to me that you present yourself as a good preacher, with excellent expressive abilities and the capacity to speak for days, but someone familiar with the content you talk about discovers various things in your presentation.

Telling me my first effort will suck is like asking me to go to somewhere else to find truthful info. It is an effort to create a dependency. Not all the information you provide is information. There's a distinction between data, signs, and information, which is a set of signs in such a relation that they contribute to an increase in knowledge for the recipient. In other words, information is a measure of the increase in the quantity of knowledge, and it only qualifies as information if the recipient has the ability to process the received signs and data, connecting them with certain meanings that, in turn, enhance their knowledge. I respect your experience, but Information Theory is an exact natural scientific discipline.
