Travis Tanner should have become a partner in the firm but continued to have contentious relationship with Harvey. Eric Close played this role so well. I also wish Scottie was a longer term character and ended up with Harvey instead of Donna. Abigail Spencer played Scottie so well also.

"At any time during a deposition, the deponent or a party may move to terminate or limit it on the ground that it is being conducted in bad faith or in a manner that unreasonably annoys, embarrasses, or oppresses the deponent or party." Based on Tanner's attitude Harvey had grounds to end the deposition since it started, he just chose to end it where he did because he judged it went too far.

Harvey always claimed that he won against Tanner twice. But it is not true. The first one? Yeah Harvey only "won" that because he was willing TO PERJURE himself. Committing a CRIME to win against another attorney isn't really winning. It's called a sham. The second one? Hardman was pulling his strings. He didn't really lose. Maybe he knew that he had a flimsy evidence but chose to take the case anyway because Hardman blackmailed him. Wouldn't be the first time Hardman does that to get ahead. Harvey also laughed when Mike told him that Tanner plays Tennis. Which actually in itself is laughable since if you are an American Football fan, Tennis and Basketball fans are BOTH THE SAME LOSERS in their eyes. My point here is unlike Stemple, Tanner IS the only lawyer who can beat Harvey. And he was about to during THE ONLY real case he had against him: Tim Petrov. Only problem was he lost his edge after converting to being kind. He did get one by him by using the Birth Certificate. Such a simple defense and so dumb for Harvey to overlook. If he was serious, Harvey would stand defeated.
@Wiggles43962 жыл бұрын
Harvey was never willing to perjure himself, it was a bluff, a bluff that worked and won the case. If tanner called his bluff Harvey would have lost. Bluffs are actually a thing 😂 your second point is moot as it's based on speculation and innuendo. Dropping the case regardless of reason is a loss..... 🤣
@youareabadsinger2122 жыл бұрын
Hahahahaah you clearly haven’t watched the show
@scottmatheson33462 жыл бұрын
Winning is winning no matter how you go about it. Cheating to win is winning, so long as you succeed. And losing is still losing no matter what excuses you give. And you've just proven tanner is 0/2.
@uzzy_787 Жыл бұрын
Either you only watch via KZbin or you don’t pay attention to the show
@henrypeters5291 Жыл бұрын
Echoing above. He was not willing to perjure himself. He was bluffing, so he still won. In the second instance, the whole thing was set up by Hardman anyway so neither one won or lost that one.
