This was great to see a walk-through of the Sierra! I have one on order and can't wait! Some of the changes I made are remove the bunks and in that space i will build a walk-in pantry, washer/dryer, and closet space. in the bedroom, I'm putting a sliding glass door and a second screened porch. In the kitchen, I'm removing the bar portion of the counter, having lower and upper cabinets to the right of the sink. Im having the live edge table made free standing so i can use it in the kitchen area as an island and for eating at. The loft will be perfect for grandchildren's sleepovers. I'll be putting a wood stove in the corner to the left when you come in the front door. Also getting an on demand propane hot water heater and propane stove as my energy will be solar powered. Im so very glad i found this company!

I built my tiny home from a 12 x 30 shed ; I wanted to have no stairs, because as we get older stairs becomes a big issue, While I’m young enough to still use a stepladder I use my small loft areas for decorations and storage. I would love to be able to share my accomplishments with it but I don’t have that kind of technology. I have a small front porch a living room with sleeper sofa ,a big picture window a full functional kitchen. I have a full functional bathroom shower tub stackable washer and dryer in my bathroom. And of course the bedroom with plenty of storage under my bed and a big functional closet cabinetry over the bed and a sliding glass door so I still enjoy the beautiful view. It sits on 2 1/2 acres. I have 240 square living space.

Some experience advice here. You better be very very comfortable with close quarters to live in any tiny home, or single wide. There's just not enough room in most of them. The single wides are designed to be able to go down highways which means most aren't wider than 8.5' wide. That means no big beds with room to walk around them. Storage is always an issue and bumping into other people in the home is constant. You will also hear everything everyone else is doing unless you have some type of special master bedroom with a real solid core door and rubber floor seal. If you're close to neighbors in a park get ready to have to put up with their noise also. So of you want comfort and peace / quiet, then go as wide as possible and check for these quality finishes. There's also special sound deadening that can go into walls, floor and ceilings, so ask the builder, or check the specs. If they don't have it then you're going to hear lots of noise from those living with you and neighbors in a park. If you don't care about space, not bumping into people when moving about the home, peace and quiet, then maybe it's the living situation for you. I found living in a tiny home to be a dance. You're dancing with whoever else is in the home. Waiting to try to get into the tiny kitchen so you don't get into each other's ways. Anywhere you want to walk you will often have to wait for the other people to pass. Most will never think about this, but once you live it you will see it can be frustrating. Noise and privacy are also a major issue. Make sure the bathroom is as big as possible. Moving around in a bathroom doesn't seem important, but it it. 5 x 9 is a small standard home bathroom. You likely get that in some of these above and manufactured models. Having a bedroom on each end instead of right next to each other is also much better. A loft over another bedroom means everything in the loft can annoy the bedroom below. Stairs are a factor also. Make sure the stairs are professionally done so there's ease of coming in and out as you will do it a lot most likely, and it can become tedious. Personally, I would go with a double wide and triple pane windows. This way you save on energy, and it keeps the noise of any neighbors out, or you in lol. They're super spacious in comparison to single wides. Best of luck in finding your dream homes!
