The weakest man I know is the man I see in the mirror. But it's okay to be inferior when you know Christ is superior. Much stronger than my fears and doubts, He's the overcomer. He holds me up when I'm overwhelmed by the weight my soul is under. From the highest throne is flashes of lightning and rolls of thunder. Yet He knows the number of hairs upon my head, I'm full of wonder. That the One with universal power would be personal. With His creation as He unfolds His gracious purposes so perfectly. I was purchased by the death of Jesus, crucified in weakness. I worship a God who weeped, who intercedes for me while I sleep. Yes I know He hears my cries He doesn't roll his eyes but rather He sympathizes and reminds me that all my needs have been provided. I have no reason to trust that I could be strong enough on my own. So I gladly boast in my weakness, that Christ's power might be shown manifested through my life to prove my faith is genuine when tested. "In the depths of my weakness is when my strength gets perfected."

Sister Nicole. All glory goes to the Lord. I'am nothing and nobody apart from Him, I have a deep love for God and I have a hunger to know Him that just can't ever be satisfied. So, I read and study His Word everyday. I pray and cry out and plea with God to show me the truth in His Word. To direct my way in study, reading, sermons and lectures and He does. He alone has to build the house lest it be built in vain (Ps. 127:1). By His grace alone He established everything in me that's any good.

Prayer is for Sinners "Lord, teach us to pray." (Luke 11:1) God answers the prayers of sinners, not perfect people. And you can become perfectly paralyzed in your praying if you do not focus on the cross and realize this. I could show it from numerous Old Testament texts where God hears the cry of his sinful people, whose very sins had gotten them into the trouble from which they are crying for deliverance (for example, Psalm 38:4, 15; 40:12-13; 107:11-13). But let me show it from Luke 11- in two ways: In this version of the Lord's Prayer (Luke 11:2-4), Jesus says, "When you pray, say..."and then in verse 4 he includes this petition, "and forgive us our sins" So, if you connect the beginning of the prayer with the middle, what he says is, "Whenever you pray. say... forgive us our sins." I take this to mean that this should be as much a part of all our praying as, "Hallowed be your name." Which means that Jesus assumes that we need to seek forgiveness virtually every time we pray. In other words, we are always sinners, Nothing we do is perfect. "We are beggars. This is true." Even if we have achieved some measure of obedience before we pray. We always come to the Lord as sinners -all of us. And God does not turn away the prayers of sinners when they pray like this. The second place we can see this is in Luke 11:13: "lf you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!" Jesus calls his disciples "evil." Pretty strong language. And he did not mean that they were out of fellowship with him. He did not mean that their prayers could not be answered. He meant that as long as this fallen age lasts, even his own disciples will have an evil bent that pollutes everything they do, but doesn't keep them from doing much good as they rely on his grace and power. We are simutaneously evil and redeemed. We are gradually overcoming our evil by the power of the Holy Spirit. But our native corruption is not obliterated by conversion. We are sinners and we are beggars. And if we recognize this sin, renounce it, fight it, and cling to the cross of Christ as our hope, then God will hear us and answer our prayers.

Lord I fully surrender my life to You, No strings attach, I'm not holding on to anything, I want what You want, take what You want to take, Here's my life. That's what discipleship is all about, that's what Lordship is all about. If I should ask you is Jesus the Lord of your life. The natural tendency would be to say yes. Well if He's the Lord of your life then He's in charge of everything. Our conversation, our character, our conduct, all submissive to Him. What would happen in your life, if you absolutely fully surrendered yourself totally to Him no strings attached, Lord here's my life. What would happen in your life. What would happen to your prayer life. What would happen to your giving. What would happen to your conversation with other people. What would happen to your heart for people in your family, or who you work with, or whoever it might be that you know are not saved. What would happen in your life if you fully surrendered yourself to Jesus Christ, fully surrendered holding nothing back, I surrender everything Lord. (All to Jesus I surrender, not some, but ALL to You). Can you imagine what God would do in your life if you said, (Lord I've been playing Christian long enough). I want You to have everything, starting today. I fully surrender all that I am to You.

1 John 2:16-17 ESV For all that is in the world- the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions- is not from the father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with it's desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. Seeking the will of God for your life, we just need to remember to be to careful of the influence of other people. Other people are quick to tell you how to live your life, how you can make decisions, what your decisions ought to be, how you spend your money, who you marry, how you raise your children, they could tell you all kinds of reasons of how to live your life, but the truth is oftentimes you're listening to the wrong voices, because God is willing to show you about what you need to know about any area of your life if you're willing to listen. "They want to place their opinion above God's opinion." They are not you to begin with, they can't be you. They don't know what God's plan is in your life, and they don't know what God is up to in your life. They may think what's happening in you're life is horrible, and God thinks it's perfectly on time.

Romans 1:18 "For God's wrath is revealed from heaven against all godlessness and unrighteousness of people who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth, since what can be known about God is evident among them, because God has shown it to them." Here Paul writes to the Gentiles in Rome: The unrighteous don't want to know and accept God's truth of what is right and wrong, neither do they want others to know and believe in His truth. Therefore they suppress and thwart the truth. Paul goes on to say that they exchange the truth of God for a lie. By claiming to be wise, they became fools. They worship and serve what has been created (the universe) instead of the Creator. This is clearly seen in society today. And this verse explains plainly why so many resist what they know to be right and true, they do not want to. It is not that His truth is not available to people, but that it is being suppressed. "FOR THE WRATH OF GOD IS REVEALED FROM HEAVEN AGAINST ALL UNGODLINESS AND UNRIGHTEOUSNESS OF MEN, WHO BY THEIR UNRIGHTEOUSNESS SUPPRESS THE TRUTH."
