This is the only time I've ever heard an 8 string and thought "holy shit that's an awesome tone". So glad I found your channel!

Dang, normally on your "boost/no boost" comparisons, the differences are subtle. Not with this one, the Rectifier was DRAMATICALLY different. The Orange real-time comparison was great, a treat to see how you shaped your tones with the pedal. The 5150 was the most subtle but still very noticeable and the boosted tone was just that much better.
@RyvenProductions2 жыл бұрын
Now this is one impressive boost. The difference it made with the Mesa was huge. Just insanely tight. Thanks for the demo.

The riffs! The tones are fantastic through this pedal, very flexible and articulate. Lots of control which is great! But the riffing! Total headbang factor

I'm sure the pedal would be great if I got one. However, Jon, your playing and sound are always superb, whether you use a pedal or not!

Great videos! Would you recommend the Aesahaettr or The King In Yellow if I'm running the pedal into an amp sim? I play mostly 7/8 string tunings. Cheers~

I have a slight option paralysis, how would you compare this to pepers dirsty tree or fortin / other metal clean boosts? Awesome video, and i love the tweak part!
@SonicDriveStudio2 жыл бұрын
This one is more versatile to be honest. More shaping options!

Hey man! Feel free to drop us a message through the Lichtlaerm page - happy to answer all questions about our products 😁 That being said I’m a big fan of Tony’s stuff - the dirty tree is a great pedal and gives you more value for your money than the Fortin stuff and they’re all pretty identical as far as the circuit goes 🙂 The Aesahaettr is different in both boost design and eq bands - it really comes down to taste there!
@mjlagerwerf2 жыл бұрын
That sounds really good! One question, when the pedal is engaged and the amp is on the clean channel, does it add some grit to the clean sound like a tubescreamer or does is stay clean?
@SonicDriveStudio2 жыл бұрын
It stays clean! If you want some grit, they make a really cool Klon type pedal but with more flexibility
@danielringl85012 жыл бұрын
The pedal itself stays clean due to the immense headroom - but it can push literally any amp into gritty territory when you can the boost control 🙂

well this pedal is really nice. kinda what I was looking for a while back. I have a doom screamer boost now. I enjoy it. leaves a little to be desired but it gets the job done. but this pedal here. yeah I think I'm very interested. how available are they though?

Precision drive or this??? I do not need the gate function on the precision drive as I have a zuul in my setup already.
@danielringl85012 жыл бұрын
With the four eq bands and the seamless low cut this one is for sure more flexible! The precision is a different animal: it’s basically a modded tube screamer with switchable low cut settings.
