The square shape of the plate would contribute to the types of resonance it could produce too. The size of the plate relative to the wavelength of frequency is also important. Has anyone tried circles or stars for the plate?

i tried that experiment with roughly powdered ormus and ran various frequencies through a small sheet of foil it was sitting on and under the foil was a ultrasonic small speaker and it wouldn't even form any pattern like as if it doesn't want to

There’s a guy on here who did it with soap but putting two speaksera on top of each other. He didn’t play many tho but it formed this SICK vibrating column of sound. Look of 3d cymatics

The observation seems quite old. Haven't these patterns been spotted in old church buildings? The whole idea of fractals was apparently mocked before people realised they could make more efficient antenna. The same may happen with cymatics.
