That's definitely one of the "Coolerist" projects I've seen in a while. Definitely worth building Sir. That's making full use the 'beard' and 'belly power'.
Great job and project thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building God Bless

These are awesome! I can think of so many projects to use this technique on. Also, although I don't think it was your intent, you made using that router look insanely easy and i have always had a bit of a fear of them. For whatever reason, you just helped me get over my fear of it and im going to buy one just like yours asap. God is good i guess! Thanks and can't wait to see what else you come up with. Merry Christmas from the pine tree state as well! 😊

Thank you so much, I really appreciate such a positive comment. I too have been a little intimidated with the router because I usually use the big 2 hp one (i think), but this little single hand held one is pretty awesome. If you have any DeWALT 20v tools already, here is a link to just the router (no battery) that I have. Good luck and Merry Christmas to you. amzn.to/4844KLH

Those are really neat, Gary. I'd like to try making one but I'm tied up with other present making right now. I was thinking you could deepen the area between segments to give a more 3d look. It would be worth a try. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Bill

Thanks, Bill! I think if I took my belt sander to the top of each section, it would be pretty easy to do that....and it would give a little more 3 dimensional look. 🙂 Merry Christmas!
