I recently watched “The Royals”, and beleive me am so devastated that there is no next season, it was a little journey for me , I felt I was a part of these ppls lives while watching tis.. and the moment the show ended I thought jeez how long should I be waiting for the next season n then learnt tat it was cancelled. Dissapointed is not word, am not sure what Mark did , but Tisz one hell of a creation , such a brilliant plot , I can’t imagine how tis man created this kind of a fiction .. ok I want to talk about Robert ❤.. I only wish Robert existed in real life .. he was portrayed shady all through the season but every single scene he proved our assumption wrong by making us still wonder if he’s a good or a bad guy.. the way he pursues Willow , all this feels so real to me , I don’t understand how tis can be a fiction , the way he becomes vulnerable to her ,n each time she has doubt on this relationship , the way he assures her , he convinces her to believe him , I wanted so much of Robert more , i couldn’t get over this character, there is a justification in everything he did .. i just lost it for Kathryn n Liam .. jasper n Len are cute, cryrus one hell of a character , but willow n ROBERT stole the show , stole my heart ♥️

Am I the only one who thinks that she decided to marry him during this scene and not after? The way she looks at him and then says 'you know I love you don't you?' it feels so important, or maybe it's just my shipper heart talking LOL

lizziebitchx I’ve seen others say the same. And I LOVE this scene. For me, I think this was the moment she realized how damaged Robert is and how much he’s hurting. She just learned all these secrets from Len and she’s wondering if the Robert she loved is a lie (as we see in her nightmare). And he’s not this perfect guy she maybe thought he was, but she’s seeing him at his most vulnerable. So she tells him she loves him because she does, and she knows he needs to hear it. I do think that Willow has every intention of exposing Robert after their argument about how he’s running the country. But this scene is really important in facilitating her ability to forgive and marry him, after whatever he tells her at the church - which I think is probably a revelatory speech where he decides to make up for his wrongs. But that’s just my interpretation. 🤷

Now that's a very interesting theory! I completely agree that seing this vulnerable side of Robert was a huge defining moment for them, and I can't wait to find out what he told her at the church! I would love for him to make up for his wrongs, and since Max said he's hoping for a redemption arc in season 5, I think it could very much happen!

Agree and i'm with you in this shipp.. but maybe just maybe willow .. understand was going on with this creepy family and definitely robert needs her .. cause is so alone and sad. She make things right that's why i think wants to save him .. he pay attention not like liam she was there and liam just obsesive with kate .. so we need season 5 to see rillow.. happy ending

What do you guys think happened? I’m so bummed it got cancelled. There’s also theories saying Willow was actually trying to dismantle the monarchy from the beginning etc and snuck in.

I think she told him about his families theory and that they try to kick him from the throne! I also think that Liam isn’t as nice as he seams to be.

@@andreawirtz2728 Liam was always jealous of Robert and he wanted to blame his grief over his father onto someone and who better than Robert who wasn’t there when he died but like Robert said maybe their father wouldn’t have been killed if he had been looking after him instead of hooking up with girls and partying. The reasons for why Liam hates Robert are stupid selfish reasons. 1. He hates Robert because now he wants to be king even though he is not suited to be king and was never meant to be king, it was always Robbie who was going to be king. 2. He wanted Kathryn but she chose his brother over him twice. 3. He wasn’t there when their dad died so he doesn’t think Robert could feel as much grief as he did even though we see that was the complete opposite of the truth. Their father’s death affects Robert more than Liam. Robert did three bad things but even those actions can be justified. The things that Liam has done has been worse. Eleanor, Liam, Cyrus and Helena are hypocritical traitors

He wasn’t ever a bad person though. He was a good person that made three mistakes and two were justified behavior honestly except the burning of Eleanor’s letter to Jasper but even then he just wanted the best for Eleanor and he didn’t really trust Jasper but I think he tried to atone it by making Jasper a bodyguard again and now doesn’t care if Jasper is with Eleanor. He’s very protective over his little sister always has been. It quite sad that Eleanor has seemed to forgotten every loving moment they had all because of a letter which didn’t even matter at the end because she ends up with Jasper anyway
